Yeaaa...so season 1 was like 5 and a half days. Not enough to play or be ready. To top that off, if you missed that 5 day season 1, you automatically get placed in Bronze LEAGUE.

What is Bronze league? Well it's the lowest bracket in the tiered competitive league that was recently added to the game.

I basically started playing league, not knowing what bracket I was in. After 3 league games or so, I realized that i'm playing with donkeys. ****ing ******ed donkeys. I checked, and i'm in bronze, whoop-de-doo wasn't surprised there.

What I hate? You get automatically placed with the lowest form of pubtrash you will ever see if you missed the 5 & ahalf day season 1 sham they had 2 or so weeks ago.

To be honest, i'd rather be refunded all the money i've put into this game (godpack, 3500gems X2), then even try bothering myself to play in that Bronze turd of a league. I've played enough MOBA's to understand that if you are placed with pubtrash like this, you will suffer. Most games you will play, you will suffer. I don't play this game for the greater good of mankind...I don't play this game to teach kids how to gank, or what is more important to do at any given time compared to what they *THINK* is right. I turn on my music, I get into the groove, I login, sh1t dies...I feel good. This method of gratification cannot happen when i'm in Bronze League....because the people in that league are;

1) Skillesss
2) No brain (correlates with 1)
3) Laggers (Bad PC &/or Internet)
4) Trolls (haven't seen many yet, but they exist whether you like it or not, any PvP game will have trolls).
5) Combination of all of the above.

TLDR: There is 5 Leagues. Bronze is the lowest. If you missed season 1 which lasted a couple days, you are screwed and tossed in Bronze. Why aren't you placed in the middle league by default???? Beats me. I'd like a refund but that won't happen. GG

A: technectly there are only 2 Brackets right now and the silver players still get paired with bronze.

B: the elo ranking and the league ranking work something like this. There is still a form of elo that pairs you with players of the same elo in your league.

C: everyone starts at the bottem. Duh. You have to work to get to the top and if hirez would use your idea to start everyone in the middle then you would still have to deal with the same donkeys like you say, because they start at the same place as you already. All your idea would do is make it more annoying for people that have worked to get to the top.

Now calm down stop being toxic.

To some extent I get what OP is saying. I'm not 100% sure how the league works, I havn't gotten round to mastering all essentials for ranked. But, as I understand, your score lowers as you play less? So let's say I geek for 3 months and I reach gold league, I then need to stop playing 3 months due to a finger injury (or whatever) and I'm back with the "******s" on lower bronze.

To me, ideally, your "ELO" would drop to a certain minimum, let's say 1000-2000 is bronze, 2000-3000 silver and 3000+ gold. If I quit with a 3500 elo, it's harsh that it drops to 1000. Instead it should drop to, let's say, 2500. So I get a penalty, but don't get utterly destroyed for not playing. (If your ELO is 2499 and you quit playing, you drop to 1500, etc).

This might be how it works, I might be wrong entirely, I should probably read into how the fine tuning of league works, but eh.

That's just my 2 cents.

What is the point in doing league anyway? There is no prizes yet so I don't care as much. Does anyone know if when are they and what are the prizes going to be if they really plan on putting it up?

(And ya... I just like to play the game for fun not interested in being the "Top" or anything like that)

I doubt they will put up prizes for league games or top ranking, that will probably remain exclusively for tournaments. Ranked games ofcourse being practice for tournament games or find potent teammates.
Being top ranked is good for the fame and can help you get a fanbase for when you consider a twitch or youtube channel.

So you're saying every player is either in A) Bronze or B) Silver? And that the other 3 brackets are empty?

I wish someone would confirm this?

Your team has always a higher chance of being good (if you are as good as you say ofc). Because the enemy has 5 randoms and your team only got 4 randoms.

Just don't rage at ppl, tell them what to do instead (use a ton of smiley faces to make you look happy and spam vvgr when someone screw up and vvgn-->ver when they do something good) and focus on what you are doing and try to make good calls when it comes to gf/fg or follow the calls that is being called if there is someone else who makes good calls :p

In LoL anyway, I just reached 27 so its not even possible for me right now. But i doubt I ever will here either. I'm not as good at this game as I am at LoL...
