I can't remember the last time I had a match where someone didn't ***** about the way someone was building or how they were playing (when they're doing it right). It's like there's a massive case of Dunning-Kruger syndrome going on where people with negative k/ds always criticize the people carrying them.

I just had a siege match as Apollo and started with death's toll and spiked gauntlet (a fairly standard ADC starting purchase), and later on got *****ed at for having death's toll on Apollo since apparently, "omg Apollo noob death's toll on Apollo". Then I got *****ed at later for "not using skills and just auto attacking", even though I basically spam my skills as much as mana allows and auto-attacking is my ****ing job, above everything else.

It wasn't like this at all the last time I played it, people typically kept to themselves and didn't comment on what other people were doing unless they were really doing it wrong. Now, they comment on every little thing whoever they decide to pick on does, even if that person is the only reason they're even winning.

Weird, I've had the exact opposite experience. The past few days are the first time I've played Smite since August and almost nobody seems to communicate at all now. Personally, I thrive off people raging at me in-game. I honestly don't know how more people don't find it entertaining.

It would be entertaining if they weren't always so pretentious about everything. They say things like it's so obvious what you're supposed to build or how you're supposed to play, but they're usually completely wrong about it. Like someone saying not to build Devourer's Gloves because the enemy team has ranged gods. The level of mind**** is ridiculous.

I think in the entire time I've played this game, I have probably only had about twenty or thirty matches with a competent team since the game has come out of beta.

Naw, play ranked and you almost never see GG from both teams.

You will see GG from a few people but to see every single person say GG in after a ranked game is almost impossible, because your fighting for TP so usually the losing team will be complaining about something.

I think the last time I played Ranked both teams said GG which was a shocker, but that's because it was a close game and I guess since nobody did that bad everyone just said GG.

But if you get stomped yes.... there is no such thing as GG, more like

"You BLEEP, scrub BLEEP!!!!"

Your not the only one who noticed this. I have stopped playing mainly because this makes solo queue a hell and I needed to be encouraged to get playing this game.

Now I mostly play assault (because much chaos and more noobs on certain gods so less *****ing) but sometimes i play cq and it's like 1 match and I will go over at a premade 3v3 Joust or back to assault. (i don't like arena at all and siege is the same as cq)

I totally agree with this after one the previous matches, so a Tyr built winged blade(mind you,the enemy team had a Freya and Bastet) and this Apollo starts *****ing his head off:"WTF noob tyr winged blade is noob item build tank" while i'm just pissing myself, the Tyr ignores the Apollo and I decided to tell this "MLG" Apollo that winged blade is not so bad.He proceeds to change his ***** target to me.Usually in arena I get pretty good teammates that are communicative and helpful, but joust is full of ragers, feeder and quitters for me.

It seems like there's a huge problem with the way the matchmaking fills in spots for stacks too. I've had stacks of a whole clan on the other team and then our team was all solo. There's a lot of times when my team will have a 3 man stack and the other team will be a full stack as well. You end up getting tryharding clans in unranked and it just ruins the game.

This happens to me (either directed at me or someone else on my team) in pretty much every match, like I said. I don't understand how these people function, it's probably why they're all so bad, they worry too much about other people's gods than their own. I've had problems with Siege more than anything.

Since Beta most of my games have had users ignoring the VGS system and text chat generally. The only time a user is using either is when they're angry, normally.

That said MOBA communities are always hit and miss, Smite was never an exception. There's some nice people, some not-so-nice people, and an awful lot of generally silent players.
