So currently the breakdown is as follows:

Mage - 5
Physical Melee - 8
Physical Ranged - 5
Support - 2
Tank - 8

One would think that maybe another support is on its way before release? 30 gods, right? So in the remaining 2 that are incoming do you think one of them will be Support?

Maybe fenrir
heard alot of rumors and he's prob Physical melee

but a new support would be nice :D

Well I know HiRez has said they won't release a full support, but maybe someone more supporty at least...

Well HiRez also said they will never add a hybrid gods into the game you can see how that went....

Vulcan could potentially be a support char. He did, after all, forge Zeus' bolt and Aegis (as his Greek counterpart). Ya know, forging... a form of support. Anyway... a physical support would be interesting.

This is just speculation, but anything can happen in the world of Hi-Rez.

No, I mean Vulcan, the Roman God of fire and the anvil. I've believe that he's the next God (Although I also imagine that it could be either Yen Lo Wang or Fenrir). There's a hell of a lot of data mining going on, so it could be any one, but I believe that it'll be him, especially since more info is being found on him.

Vulcan is the Roman version of the greek god Hephaestus. I totally see him buffing and debuffing "weapons" and "armors" since, as JaroNatsu said, he's a blacksmith god :)

Hopefully so. That would make him support hopefully. And it could be done in such a creative way that they could do a support from the Chinese pantheon as god #31 (with Fenrir being #30).

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
