I am making this thread not only for my benefit, but for everyone's. Hi-Rez needs to implement a "favorite a god" feature in which you can favorite a god for faster selection. This would help people, like me, who like to play a specific god but dont want to spend time looking through the roster trying to find it. Let me know what everyone thinks and post your ideas here as well.

Ofc it is hard when it comes to gods that neeed to be scrolled to get picked but I kind of feel like this is more of a feature that could be added later :P

Now I would focus more on the part of getting big when it comes to MOBAs in general, like getting a good ranked ladder, getting more players and more competitive play etc :)

I like the idea ofc (kind of like how you can queue for a certain role in LOL).

Perhaps they could spruce up the God Selection area by putting gods with similar roles next to eachother? (Mages would have their section, Guardians would have their, etc...)

And perhaps the God Selection could also have tabs to different layouts, such as a Favorites tab that does what you described, a Popular tab that shows the most commonly used gods, or a tab that does the thing I described.


Personally what I'd like to see is for Hi-Rez to make another forum, or for them to make a website that allows players to submit ideas for them to look at, kinda like Warframe's Design Council page (minus being locked to everyone who didn't buy this or that.)

(For those who don't know Warframe's Design Council forum is locked to people who have not bought a founder's package or something like that.)

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
