Now I know that most of the newbies in smite are always ranting about imbalanced **** about the game or what not, but I'm not here to do that.... And for the forum mods, if this is in the wrong section, just feel free to move it to the appropriate section.
Well most of the items that will be listed here will be about ranting but not all.
I'm just here to point out some peculiarities that I've found out since I started playing the game. And I know some the information here will be rancid specially coming from a HON player
And also for those grammar nazis that will be viewing this, I apologize in advance if some of the words will be misspelleded ^_^Y

Alright so lets get started. (Arranged chronologically)

Community: One thing that I noticed is that smite doesn't have an official forum for the actual game, thus preventing the developers from communicating with actual players to improve their software, and this really bugs me quite a bit, since all of the hard hitting MOBA's out like there DOTA, LOL, HON depends on player input to further improve the game.

Heroes / GODS: What can I say but. of all the MOBA's I've played SMITE has one of the top notch hero models out there, I mean attention to detail is superb and I cannot ask for anything else.

Remake System: Why is there no remake button or remake vote, just wondering.

Death Consequences: Now in all competitive MOBA's death is a natural part of life, even great players die, they're not god, in this game you're only playing as a GOD but still, you're not GOD. This game should have all the other MOBA features as well, like TD denies, Creep denies and also Gold loss upon death, here's what I mean Gold loss upon death. This will prevent you from being to rambo on a team or a single fight. Denies will further slowdown the other team and ultimately if your good at it, you can have an advantage over your lane opponent. Because for me personally, without it, its like I'm playing in easy mode, I mean sure you can delay your opponents items obviously they cant farm when they're dead, but it can only do so much. And this is also the main reason why I did not liked LOL (no offense to LOL players).

Buyback Option: Do I still need to explain this, there should be an option for you to buyback your character upon death, to either continue the pursue of opponents or simply to defend, I mean come on, once you've maxed out all your items you gold would just be stagnant or useless, and if they do implement the buyback system, they should just limit the buyback option as well to prevent the game from prolonging, that way, you'll only buyback your character on crucial moments.

Items: Now as some of you may know, items are a big factor in MOBA's, but based on what I've encountered, I'm just wondering as to why all of your items would have an effect on your skills? Now isn't skill supposed to have a static damage? I mean not really static but as much as possible your skill damages should not be dependent on your items. Ultimate skills sure, those are given but still.
High risk low reward, and some of it is solely based on cool downs and how annoying those cd's are, I mean really? I need to wait a minute to use a freaking speed burst for 5 seconds? And also why is there a lot of similar items with just different passives? Oh god why?

Towers: Towers here are a life saver, because they automatically stop what ever they are attacking and attack what ever is attacking you. and also a good thing that no one can easily tank a td here with just a single item, unlike in hon or dota or lol but ironically the td's are also squishy for some reason, don't know why its built that way, but well never know ^_^

Game Modes: Now this is a game changer, if in case you're bored with the same old 3 lane moba, you can fight in a single lane, or even better one of my favorite "Arena" game mode wherein you don't need to have objectives but simply kill everything or everyone that you see. And if someone is doing the same thing, simply go back to your base and hide like a little girl.

Re-spawn Timers: Now in normal mode map or conquest wherein its a 3 lane battle re-spawn, timer is the way that its supposed to be the higher the level the longer the wait time after death. However in assault why is it a normal re-spawn timer? it should be like the HON map midwars wherein all heroes have a max re-spawn timer of 20 seconds, that way you can still defend even if your enemies are already doing hell in your base. And also in Arena, for some reason the spawn timer is random sometimes I have to wait, sometimes I spawn immediately after death. don't know if this is a bug or something, but they really need to have a uniformed spawn timers for each game modes

Couriers: This would be greatly appreciated in assault and conquest wherein you can have the option to continue defending or PL'ing and just simply get your items from the courier. Why is this crucial thing not implemented here or should I say why is this feature not available here in smite?

Move speed: This game should really have a fixed maximum move speed like in most MOBA's. And also this maybe just me but, your MS differs if your attacking and just moving, for some reason you MS becomes slower when attacking someone rather than just chasing without attacking, the subtle MS change indicator should also reflect on the lower left of the screen, not really an issue but it will give some players a heads up whether they still need to chase the enemy or simply bail on the chase to avoid death.

Skills: Now I know some people are still saying that some skills are OP or what not. but I'm not here to discuss that, just to name a few, for some reason why is an AOE skill that will burst out of your character not instantly cast and specially if it is a buff. instead they have the option of either quick, normal cast I know we can all change the casting type of each abilities, and I know what you guys are thinking that some players still needs to gauge if their AOE skills would hit or not but still, this is actually not a problem for me parse but it's annoying that you still need to adjust the cast type, specially for a newly purchased hero or GOD.

Skill / Item Animations: This is also one of the factor that enticed me to play this game, nuff said animations are great, specially Hercules when he digs throws a big *** rock to his target LOL

Voice Chat: Do i still need to explain this? well VGS's are great but would it be much more easier for a player to just say on their mics "BRB" or "BACK" rather than typing or memorizing the VGS commands. Don't know if there is a voice chat in this game, but if there is will someone please point it out to me on how to make it work.

So ATM these are some of the few thing that I noticed about this game. And I know some these things may not be all true and can be easily countered. but if possible I would like some input from you guys to help me to develop and improve my gaming experience here in smite.

Denies would be a sort of hard thing to put in here. Remember this isn't Dota. You don't just click the enemy you want to kill. The game mechanics are completely different and I feel that this one would just be a giant pain in the ***.

The reliable/unreliable gold in Dota is probably the greatest thing ever. So I could do with this.

I could go for this. It would definitely add more to the game.

I'm neutral on this points because some matches it's useful others it will only make the game a lot longer (Imean games that are so close to each other that this buybakc will just keep it prolonged to maybe 90 mins)

Well this isn't exactly how it's played but in low lvls it is XD (minions play a really big role here 7 is more then 5)

well the arena spawn timer is a weird case it kinda keeps counting. When a team gets deicide (aced) they will respawn all at once. here the timer will be longer every so many minutes.


Couriers: This would be greatly appreciated in assault and conquest wherein you can have the option to continue defending or PL'ing and just simply get your items from the courier. Why is this crucial thing not implemented here or should I say why is this feature not available here in smite?

I like the idea but I don't find it that fitting for this game (and chang'e would need a new passive)

there isn't a voice chat and not everyone has a working mic so I like this system because it's accessible for everyone.

Creep denies aren't gonna work as you hit the first thing in a line.This will prevent you from harassing (or make it very tough).Besides, one of the reasons why I DON'T play MOBAs if the choice between farming and fighting enemy characters.As for the gold loss upon death, it'll be a "no".Not sure what you mean by "his will prevent you from being to rambo on a team or a single fight" but if you've died 3 times in conquest, you're doomed and you have to wait until late late-game to be even with your opponents.Gold loss will just slow that process even more.

You're right about the MS debuff, while attacking but it's the same in other MOBAs - you stop in order to make an attack.To counter it just get sprint or Hastened Fatalis.
