I never doubted them, Titan wouldn't have stood a chance anyway.

The COG Prime vs COG Red and COG Prime vs Titan were some of the best / most enjoyable matches I've ever watched in eSports.

For COG Prime vs Titan I was going to be happy no matter who won because I love BaRRaCCuDDa and MLCStealth (and now pretty much all their players!) and Titan were the underdogs and had a great story. I'm also happy COG won because BaRRaCCuDDa is from Atlanta (REPRESEEEEENT!).

I was really glad Titan came back in games 3 and 4 though because if it as a 3-0 knockout that would've been kind've anticlimactic to me.

I kinda wonder what would've happened if Titan had banned better that last game though. I didn't really get the Nox / Zhong Kui bans. I thought they had given up on trying to ban out MLCStealth and it had been working well, then they let Sylvanus and Ao Kuang through. I dunno *shrug*.

I only noticed this when I was searching for some information on the players and teams them self (e.g. sponsors) and then looked on their site at their teams and noticed the names from titan.

I personally think it's ******ed that 3 out of the 4 (major) teams in the SWC are all COG teams.

I enjoyed watching the SWC, but I don't think any organization should be allowed to submit more than 1 team to the SWC. A few posts from Reddit sum up how I feel:

"No one says that you didn't deserve your place at the worlds because you deserved it more than anyone else, the part in which people aren't so happy about is the growth of Smite as we all know Sponsors=money=growth and therefore having 3 Cognitive teams means less different teams and therefore less sponsors but on the other hand the quality and level of gaming at the Worlds will be absolutely mind blowing and no one else deserves this more than the cog teams. "

"The people who are saying CogR, CogPrime and Aquila don't deserve to be at Worlds are stupid. However, the vast majority of people who you perceive to be slighted against those teams are because they're all under the same sponsor, for whatever reason.

If you sign up what accounts to a monopoly in the scene where probability states you're going to go home with 85% of the prize pool to one organisation, it completely puts off any major sponsors from coming into the scene. What are the chances of Evil Geniuses or Alliance coming here when every single fighting force team with any hope of getting to competitions is taken up by one organisation?

Nobody likes monopolies. Competition breeds business and in the long run it will hurt Smite's competitiveness in the market if it continues. I have nothing against the teams, Heff The Sex Jindla is a wonderful person and all of CogAq are amazing, but the concept of a monopoly is not one I agree with."
Thanks to Ferrum for making the sig pic! He's beast af people.

Well, there is no more Aquila, the Cognitive Gaming team ( that was the full name ). Now there is Titan, completely different sponsor. There were just 2 CoG teams in the SWC ( Prime and Red ). But well yeah, we all agree that there were 4 major/big teams and the small ones although it was interesting to watch them play. I hope next SWC will be different in that way

Well it's only two now since Titan acquired Aquila from CoG. They used to be but I'm guessing Titan just offered more money or something. The only other possible explanation is Hi-Rez stepping in saying 3 teams from one company is too much. Dunno if they're allowed to do that though.

Other than that I loved watching the SWC. The hype for the finals was real! I wanted CoG Red to do a bit better against their sister team but eh.. Well done Hi-Rez!

CoG Prime gets 5 skins I hear (like TSM Apollo) and the Scylla one is confirmed!

Well, I don't know about Scylla, but Barra was asking on twitter today what skin they wanted - skin for apollo or anhur. Decided Anhur.
And Omega was asking on reddit what skin they wanted - for Herc or Osiris. So I guess 5 team skin confirmed I think.
