Is it just me that gets the lighted match icon without having a clue what the hell it is that I have not read yet?

Think it has to do with threads containing polls (at least it did not happen to me before the appearance of all the poll threads, I'm looking at you Sub.... Kappa).

Also the "last post by" is it bugged or has it always just been showing the last person who made a thread?

There's definitely a delay between posting a comment and it showing up on the front page, as well as a long delay on the last post. Mowen just responded to the PM I had sent about this a short while ago, saying that their last .fire update affected every site with this problem. They're currently looking into it.


I haven't been participating in enough polls to really notice, but I'm guessing it considers a vote as response. So, even though there are no new comments, someone casting their vote will deem it updated.



Also, there's something wrong with your poll; you misspelled "Tantalizing Turnip."

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
