I'm no good with numbers, and don't quite understand how damage is calculated so please take my idea with a grain of salt.

So I've recently been playing more of the auto-attack focused Mages (Chronos) and playing solo/mid with some Guardians, and was trying to think of ideas for items to help boost their auto-attack damage in a way that doesn't give them a clear advantage over Physical gods, and what I thought of was this:

What if Telkhines Ring was changed so that instead of dealing additional 40 damage it instead just boosted your auto-attacks with a small percentage of your Magical Power? (Think Polynomicon, only with the contribution always active but significantly lower.)

Again, I don't know if this would be broken/stupid, and just wanted some discussion on this.

It would at least make the item somewhat useful on other gods than Nu Wa (which it also isn't that good on TBH) :P

It needs a lot more than just that. More attack speed and more power, remove the mag protection and add flat pen or something.

And I don't think it's useful on Nu Wa as it is now.
