So, how do any of you feel about Zhong Kui in the mid lane vs other match ups.
I bring this up because I actually forgot this god was even in the game, that's how much nobody plays him. So I went and played him mid lane today.

I was Zhong Kui Vs Agni(Swagni Skin) in the mid lane.

To my surprise, Agni pretty much could not defeat me 1 on 1. He kept dumping everything on me but Zhong Kui's protections/heal seemed to just eat everything. If he did do any burst damage that didn't instant kill then Zhong can heal himself back up, and even if Agni does try to burst you down you can still try to build up your passive for more protections.

What the lane basically looked like, was Agni dumping 3 ults on me over and over, and me just healing my health back up to full hp while there is nothing he can do. All while healing making it more and more difficult to kill Zhong because his passive starts to stack. Since Agni cannot heal himself up without pots, it was basically me with almost full health at all times and Agni around mid health at all times.

I felt as though Agni could not ever kill me by himself unless he burst me twice, meaning he cannot ever burst Zhong down in one go if you have your passive stacked and keep healing yourself. Although Agni could not burst Zhong down I also felt that it was hard to try to kill Agni as Zhong too because of his dash, although you can try to stun him to get damage in since Agni cannot heal.

I was actually surprised that Zhong felt kind of strong in mid lane, not in the way that he can fight but in the way that it felt as if Agni could not kill me or push me out of lane. What it came down to was basically who has the better team/jungler to gank.

I would not waste his ultimate most of the time, just keeping my protections up with his passive so junglers would have a harder time killing me.

What do you guys think about Zhong Kui mid, how does he stack up to other mages in the mid lane? I haven't played him too much mid but he felt surprisingly stronger than I thought being that nobody picks him much anymore, hell I forgot he was even on the game.

Oh yeah, I think he's highly underrated. He can solo well, and I think I agree that he can also mid pretty well.

The best part of playing him is getting ganked and then getting a double kill, because ZK's ultimate can get quite ridiculous.

Also I did quick math and Zhong with his passive at level 20 has 23 more protections than Ares does and ares is a tank. Assuming I did this right :D

For example if Zhong's phy defense = 8 (2.6) that would mean he has 60 phy protections at level 20 right?

Ares has 17 (3) phy protections so at level 20 he would have 77 protections I assume?

But if Zhong has his passive his defense is then boosted by 40 and he actually has 100 protections? So he has 23 more phy protections than even ares.....

I assume this is right?
So basically he is a mage that can be more tanky then even a tank....

OP.... and he can heal hahahahhaha

Oh wait... I forgot if you ult with him he gets DOUBLE his protections so that's actually 200 defense with no items...
