Hi Everyone, I have been playing smite for a few months now, and am enjoying it so much i decided to make this idea i have discussed with friendspublic. I would love to see Ganesha, also known as Ganapati or Vinayaka released in Smite. I came upwith skills based on my knowledge of the god and elephants in general (since he appears in elephant form; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kabul_ganesh_khingle.jpg). This link also shows how he could possibly appear in the game.

Passive: Defence in numbers, herds tactics - Ganesha is comforted by his allies' presence, gains 5 hp5 and gains +10 magical and phyical defence for every friendly god within a radius of 40 feet.

First Ability: Sound the charge - Ganesha sounds a charge in the form of a battlecry (elephant sound) and gives all allies a speed buff and damage increase.

Level 1: speed increase 3%, Damage increase 2% for 4 seconds
Level 2: speed increase 6%, Damage increase 4% for 4.5 seconds
Level 3: speed increase 9%, Damage increase 6% for 5 seconds
Level 4: speed increase 12%, Damage increase 8% for 5.5 seconds
Level 5: speed increase 15%, Damage increase 10% for 6 seconds

Second Ability: Bodyslam - Ganesha dashes forward, and if there is a god in his path they will be pushed in the same direction, taking damage. This applies a cripple, as the strength and weight of Ganesha is more than most men can imagine. If Ganesha is under 50% hp, they will also be stunned.

Level 1: 80 damage, cripple duration .5s
Level 2: 140 damage, cripple duration .7s
Level 3: 200 damage, cripple duration .9s
Level 4: 260 damage, cripple duration 1.1s
Level 5: 320 damage, cripple duration 1.3s
(+40% of your physical power)

Third Ability: Shatter the earth - Ganesha smahes his heavy legs on the ground, sending a burst of damage in a cone area in front of him. If Ganesha is under 50% hp, the enemy gods are also stunned.

Level 1: 60 damage, stun duration .25s
Level 2: 120 damage, stun duration .375s
Level 3: 180 damage, stun duration .5s
Level 4: 240 damage, stun duration .625s
Level 5: 300 damage, stun duration .75s
(+50% of your physical power)

Ultimate Ability: Fury of the heard - Ganesha cries out loudly, and summons the fury of his true form, which, after a short delay, appears and tramples all enemies in a wide and long path. All gods hit by the summoned beast are also carried to the end of the beasts path.

Level 1: 200 damage, cripple duration .5s
Level 2: 320 damage, cripple duration .7s
Level 3: 440 damage, cripple duration .9s
Level 4: 560 damage, cripple duration 1.1s
Level 5: 680 damage, cripple duration 1.3s
(+60% of your physical power)

I hope everyone reading this also like this idea, and that we will see Ganesha in Smite soon.

And as for basic attacks, he would be a physical melee (most likely a tank, since hes an elephant). I dont knw what the cooldownson his ablilities would be,or the hp and manastart/level gain. This would of course be up to the developers of the game!

I really want Ganesha since he is the only hindu god I recognize before Smite. I hope if he is ever released that he is a phys tank. The only skill I liked though for an idea was his ult, that ult would be freaking cool and make for some interesting combos with other gods.

The passive ability should be something to do with winning or succes because Ganesha is the god of Success and winning.

No, he is the remover of obstacles and the deva of intelect and wisdom. Therefore he will know how to use advantage in numbers, thus giving him a boost when he has allies around him.

I really like the passive and his abilities, though maybe for his ult It could be a fear instead of a cripple, because there is a giant elephant charging you. Also, is the ultimate a range like hebo's? Because I feel it should be wider, and longer than that.
