This is based off the TCG Magic:The Gathering, they added gods to the newest set of cards, and this game is all about gods :D

Pretty sure none of this will make it into the game, but i'm just doing this out of boredom, and who knows? maybe someone will like these ideas and stick to a "legal to use" god :P

Any way, i thought this all out at work(My job is very boring) and it may not be very balanced.
I'm basing most these off the abilities in the cards and their weapons, so, some of these abilities may be a little weird.
the gods are:
-Th***a, God of the sea
-Heliod, God of the Sun
-Erebos, God of the Dead
-Nylea, God of the Hunt
-Purphoros, God of the Forge

First Th***a, God of the sea
Attack Type: Ranged, Physical
Role: Support

Passive: Whenever Th***a deals damage with an auto attack, reduce all her cooldowns by .5 sec and adds 5 mana to her mana pool.

1: Th***a Increases penetrations by 5/10/15/20/25 of her and her allies in an 80 unit radius For 3/4/5/6/7 seconds. 12sec cooldown 40/50/60/70/80 mana

2: Th***a increases the speed by 10/20/30/40/50% of her and her allies withing an 80 unit Radius For 5 seconds. 15sec cooldown 20/30/40/50/60 mana

3: Th***a forces all enemy gods to auto attack within a 50 unit Radius For 1/2/3/4/5 seconds .
20sec Cooldown 50/60/70/80/90 mana

4: Th***a is always a step ahead, for 1/2/3/4/5 seconds enemy gods actions are delayed by 1 second within a 60 unit radius. 70/65/60/55/50sec cooldown 100/110/120/130/140 mana

Heliod, God of the Sun
Attack Type: melee, magical
Role: Tank, Support

Passive: Whenever an enemy god deals damage to Heliod, Heliod gains a buff that causes 15 (+15% of your magical power) to that god on the next auto attack.

1: Heliod gains a buff that increases his magical penetration and protections by 10/15/20/25/30 for 5 seconds . 12sec cooldown 20/25/30/35/40 mana

2: Heliod summons an enchantment minion with 20/25/30/35/40% of his magical power as physical power, and 17% of his health that will follow Heliod and attack enemy gods within a 40 unit radius. 10sec cooldown 80 mana

3: Heliod removes all debuffs from himself, and becomes immune to crowd control for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds (can be used while stunned or silenced) 15sec cooldown 50 mana

well.. that was a good waste of a couple hours, I'd appreciate comments, but it's not really necessary since none of these gods will be make it in game :P hope you enjoyed reading this

The reason none of this will get in the game is because they aren't real gods.

Terrible reasoning. Arachne, the first spider, Bakasura, a demon, Hercules, a demi-god, are just a few of the non-gods in Smite. Basically anything that fits with the mythological theme can be added so long as it makes sense. And Hi-Rez has already proved they have no qualms about adding gods with the same title (Hel, Hades, Thanatos, all gods of death/the underworld) so that can't be used as a reason either (I know you didn't cite this as a reason but I'm stating it now to avoid having to say it later :P.

HOWEVER, with that out of the way, it is true that these AREN'T real gods. They do not belong to any REAL mythological pantheon (Hindu Chinese Greek Roman Norse etc), and are instead part of and created for a game. For this reason, they will not be added (I believe this is what M4xiimus was trying to say although phrased somewhat poorly). If you could find a true god/goddess/mythological creature, then you could apply these kits to those and then they'd have a chance.

The Theros gods are all based on real gods already in the game xP and i know a few people that basically worship MTG as a religion lmao, but I honestly did this out of boredom and wondered what it could be like if they were playable in smite.
And HiRez could possibly add an "other" category for gods that don't really belong to a specific category, doubtful it would happen, but i wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.
And Th***a's ultimate could be thrown on a god of time, (i know there's a lot of those) but other than that it's a lot of basic stuff, (excluding Purphoros, got creative there) that could be thrown onto any got it would fit on.

Hel is not the same as Hades they are different learn the mythology just as Hades is king of the Underworld Thanatos is the god of Death, there is a difference
