I'm kinda new to the ranked scene and I'm on my way to reach gold V, but since i'm on xbox, I only want to achieve that because I want to get the Ullr skin, and I'm 1 victory away of reaching gold V, so my question is, if I reach gold V, how long will it take to get "demoted" assuming I won't play ranked again until season 3 starts. Season 2 league ends on the 23rd for the xbox. Thanks.

I don't know exactly how long it takes but I assume Smite ranked decay will start after a month (just like in LoL) could be earlier however I think it's at least more then 2 weeks.

Don't think you get demoted TBH, just think you can go down to 0 TP at the rank you got.

At least I didn't get demoted after not playing ranked in like 3 months :P

maybe they only do rank demotions like LoL does (so if you are gold 2 and you don't play for a long time you can't get lower then gold 5)

I don't think you are demoted, you just get to 0 TP. For example you are in Silver II with something like 87 TP and you haven't played for quite some time, then it will slowly drop to 0 TP, but you won't get demoted to Silver III or something like that ;)
