OK, i keep hearing things in game and im not sure what people are talking about as i am kinda new and i dont want to get burned alive by asking a question in the game :-(

example, what the heck is ADC... stuff like that. If yall can think of other abbvs. here that would be great!

So adc is mainly a person who relies on their auto attacks, and does physical damage ( Anhur, Apollo).

It's LoL terminology carried over. ADC = Attack Damage Carry.

It's SMITE would call a "hunter". A physical-ranged role.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
