How can you tell what type of damage does a char use? is it anything that looks like Spells uses magic such as: Anubis and Ra? and anything that looks physical such as: (Bacchus) Burps, (Guan Yu) Third spell count as physical? and requires Magical for Spell users/ Physical for Close quarter attacker?. what does the chart for the physical and magic and defend do on the character overview tell you?

Any skill that scales (it's effectiveness or damage increases ) with physical power is going to putout physical damage such as Anhur's Impale Bastet's Razor Claws. And skills that scale with magical power such as Guan Yu's Taolu Assault Bacchus Belch of the Gods will output magical damage

So there is no real way of telling wich char does what (AP/AD), or who is a hybrid unless you know about his abilites, right?

If you look at the gods stats in the " Gods " screen in the main menu you can tell what damage they do with their abilitys.
Also auto attacks are ALWAYS physical.

If memory serves, orange coloured scaling is physical and green coloured is magical.

Oh, OK ty guys for the response. I though the magical on the stat on the char overview is the defense against that, because in-game i went to the stat and my magic defense was highest.

SmiteFire & Smite
