To be honest, I think she was a bit less blunt with his face being disfigured, lol. More like "I can heal you," instead of "dayum you ugly."

I didn't want to double post but I was wondering why most people in Avatar don't have last names. Don't get me wrong there are quite a few but why is it that Toph is really the only main character with a last name.

Hm, well, in Toph's case, the Beifongs were a very prestigious and wealthy family. I think it was really used to show the influence she had (and forsook to join the gAang).

Yeah Toph left every thing to join the gAang, I'm going to steal that, which is why giving her family a last name really emphasized the point that Toph was leaving everything


But even Cabbage guy had a last name, and he wasn't even a main character. Because if you remember in Korra when Cabbage Corp was shut down they name the owner by first and last name "Lau Gan-Lan" so it can only be assumed that he was Cabbage guys's grandson and that they would have shared last names.
