Apparently my mom saw that the original poster commented somewhere that the dress is white and gold, but it looks blue and black to some people because they have negative thoughts. #LOGIC

The dress actually is blue and black, although people will see it as all kinds of colors. I've heard this is because of bad white balance in the photo.
I personally see it as white and gold, although it changes every now and then. Sometimes I see it as blue and black, sometimes blue and gold, and sometimes white and gold.

I see white and gold too but yeah, apparently this was taken on an absolutely garbage camera so it bleaches the dress as it gets closer to it.

The explanation had too do with your thoughts blue black negative white gold positive. at least that was the test they did with that dress.

I watched a video on it on ASAPScience. They explained it well. It's like the same phenomena of you seeing brown as orange under a shadow.

I can't unsee the blue and gold. Never will be unseen :-].

You're not exactly alone lol, to me it looks like black with a gold/bronze tint. Honestly idk how the emotions thing works since my mind and life are going pretty well.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
