So I've been playing Agni recently and he's one of those gods that are incredibly hard to master but really pay off when you get the hang of it imo. having a blast with the ultimate nuke that uses no mana <3 anyway i was wondering do cooldown reduction items affect his ultimate? like the chrono thing i forgot its name? so that idk you get a halo in less that 20secs? or maybe you can cast successive ones faster than 0.8secs? or does that not work coz it would make him insanely op

The CDR only effects skills that have a cooldown. Agni technically doesnt have a cooldown on his ult he just gets a halo every 20 seconds. So no CDR will not make the ult come up faster.

Are we sure about that?

Probably got to grab a watch to time the halo's, but I'm quite sure it DOES reduce the ultimate chargeup by 4 seconds each.

But it doesnt because there is no cooldown on it. Its a static number, that is like saying that if you built CDR Thor's spin would cause you do do the damage faster.

Yes it does as odd as it may seem if you get a chronos pendant your ultimates CD becomes 16 seconds for each meteor I think it is effected by it because if you press K you will see that it says that the ultimate has a 20second cooldown

Given your vague formulation I was pretty much sure you simply dropped your oppinion without listing arguments and took the time to run up a practice match to test it.

CDR does influence Agni's ult rate.

I've bought a CDR item (Breastplate of Valor) and then dropped my two charge meteors. CD said 3 seconds (since 3rd was already near charged). Dropping that meteor right as it was charged resulted in "CD 15" (keep in mind the casting animation is 0.8 seconds, accordingly the full CD is 16 = 0.8 * 20).
Then proceeded to count the seconds (with help of a watch) and SURPRISE, after 16 seconds the second halo appeared.

Don't take this personally, but I hate people who throw around their oppinion as a fact and help the spread of nonsense, please check your own facts next time.

And the proof, buy and hover over skill. Still 20 seconds with level 3

What you guys dont understand is the "Cooldown is dependent on the amount of halos" part.

I really doubt it's a 'bug', because it would (imo) be unfair to give Agni an ultimate which isn't effected by CDR, opposed to everyone else's ults. (Fun note: Even Hel's 'ultimate' is affected by CDR, though you will barely notice the slight difference if you are not actively timing it)

Seriously, are you tying to troll us? The desc is a WRITTEN TEXT, the 20 can't change.
Try hitting K to actual check REAL CD timers. CDR item will reduce the cooldown labelled in the K-description to 16 seconds.

Never claimed to know everything, just claimed to know this. And as you see, you pretty much made things up and were wrong in this regard ;)
