Beads is an option for exceptionally cc-heavy comps, but this will mean you lack blink for early engagements and may have to use your 1 to get in (and rely on ult to get out).
I've seen that some people like to level the 2 first, but I feel safer in mid with the range of the 3 (without sacrificing the ability to hit multiple targets).
Otherwise it's pretty straightforward. 3 then 2 for damage. If you find you can get ults pretty consistently, you can level the ult instead of the 1 after you've finished 2+3.
Gets you near capped AS thanks to the high power+ Nimble Bancroft's Talon. Newly revamped Telkhines Ring and the new Cyclopean Ring have great synergy with your fast auto chain. Don't upgrade Bancroft's until you're 3+ items in.
Your best build for consistent damage, especially in the jungle. Your focus is to burn an enemy down and ult at the nearest opportunity in a teamfight. If the person is alone, this is going to give you the most sustained damage without having to rely on your ult.
If you expect you'll need magi's and don't feel like going crazy cooldown. More focused on finishing lower targets thanks to the inclusion of Rod of Tahuti.
If the enemy team lacks significant healing, you can opt for Magus over Divine.
If the enemy has quite a bit of magic defense, go Demonic or Ob shard instead last.
Magi's can be built instead of Telkhines if you feel you're being locked down too often. (Or instead of Divine if no healing)

Just my opinion though, I don't think you can go wrong with the build you included.
Don't use animosity. It will not improve your dmg much but you cannot use lono's. Lono + stone of fal gives Ao incredible mitigation. In long match you will be top in dmg mitigation even vs full tank guards. And in late lono will also give protections aura for allies.
The only problem of Ao supp is that he has no mass CC, but you ability to take out instantly low health enemy supp\solo with your ult is great.
Haven't played him in support yet this patch since he can't
