Hello, my IGN is ItWasUncalledFor, I mainly play League of Legends and therefore refer to many LoL terms for Smite. On smite I call myself ''Deadx123'' because someone had taken ItWasUncalledFor :P. I am not amazing at this game, I just know how to play certain gods and how to build them. This is my very first time making a guide, I accept any criticism and any suggestions.
I'd really love to actually put Anhur's skills here, but since I have no idea how, I'll try my best with words.
Desert Fury>Impale>Disperse>Shifting Sands
The reason why we max Desert Fury as much as possible is quite obvious, it's Anhur's ult. It's early game damage is amazing, easily melting down almost any god that isn't a tank.
We max Impale next because it does the most damage and is an amazing CC, I usually get this one first but try NOT to poke with it, as this wastes mana and you might miss an amazing stun chance.
Disperse is our third priority as it does more damage the more it is leveled and is a great escaping/ganking/chase tool. I pick this skill 3rd because I like to be able to stun+slow at level 2. I do NOT recommend using it in combat, but only for chasing/escaping as the extra damage is worse than auto attacking.
Shifting sands is last prioritized because it's only a CC and is great for helping Impale, so I get it at level 2 but since doesn't give us extra damage output unless enemy gods are stupid enough to fight Anhur on it, I would prioritize it last.
Skill order:
Level 1: Impale
Level 2: Shifting Sands
Level 3: Disperse
Level 4: Impale
Level 5: Desert Fury
Level 6+: Priority order
Impale
Ah yes, Impale, the skill that makes Anhur an annoyance. This skill, like Vayne's condemn, can stun any god that collides with it. It can also be used as a knockback to escape gods or an initiator, or for farming or pushing a lane to backdoor. A simple combo is to bring Shifting Sands behind an enemy god and Impale him right onto your obelisk and then bring about your auto attacks. Now, it is essential that you NEVER use Impale to kill, unless you are 100% sure he will die. If you knock away an escaping god, guess who's gonna get blamed for his survival?
Disperse
This skill, is one of the reasons why I love Anhur. Whenever you're in a tight spot, you can jump out easily, Ymir and Hades' ult never scares me and disperse can be used to escape ganks too. Disperse can also be used to jump over walls, which can be great for clearing jungles, a surprise gank, or a quick escape. Note: It cannot be used to jump over into the Fire Giant's pit.
Shifting Sands
Another amazing skill of Anhur. Just like Trundle's pillar, except it has a cool extra utility: It buffs your damage. Combining this pillar with your Impale makes an easy stun+kill for any god. It buffs your overall damage including your ult and your other skills. It's an amazing tool for escape, especially in the jungle or you could use it to slow a fleeing god.
Desert Fury
One of my favorite ults because of the high damage output when you first get it. Against any squishy god, it takes out more than 1/2 of their HP and can be used while moving, making it great for catching fleeing gods. The only thing I don't like is, if you ever get fed enough, your auto attacks do more DPS than Desert Fury entirely. I was once fed to the point I was able to crit 700+ per hit ever 1.8 seconds, compared to Desert Fury which didn't scale towards my damage at all :(. Definitely combine this with an Impale combo for an easy kill.
I shouldn't have started this so late xD. I will continue with skill order and more tomorrow after school and delete this chapter, until then, have fun with the skill order, and I'm sorry about not finishing it.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

Apparently you guys have been seeing a ****py version for a while. I wrote the one up there a week go, but due to smitefire glitches nothing was updated. Kinda bugs me, but I know this website is new too so I can't blame anyone except myself for not noticing up till now.
People have been liking my reviews, so I'll keep on doing them ^_^.
PROS
-Goes into abilities into great detail.
-Good use of colour
CONS
-Could have more sections, but guide is unfinished so understandable.
-Could use some icons.
-As mentioned above, try not to compare LoL and Smite.
This build is still a work in progress, despite it saying finishing guide tomorrow for about a week now :P. It goes into the skills in great depth. Try to re-write a few bits where it's comparison with LoL.
I'll be holding on to my vote until the build is finished :P
Definitely appreciate it dude, I'll be finishing this guide soon, still gotta add laning and teamworking whenever I have the time.

very very good guide, i would suggest adding the sixth item as Titan's bane though. anyway very good guide i used the item build along with titans bane as the sixth, i havent lost yet using this guide considering i just bought him 5 games ago lol i would say that is pretty good :)
Woot success :D! And the last time I put as a choice :D, Titan Bane being one of the great choices :D.
Edit: Currently Smite refuses to work for me, so until then I won't have access to the item information I need for the next few suggestions sorry D:
Anyway, it's a pretty nice guide. +1 ^^
