Introduction

Hello, everyone! My IGN is
Okami
. You might be wondering why I'm playing other gods. Well I want to get a bigger god pool for when I go into ranked. Anyways let's get started with the introduction. Ao Kuang is a very good god at the moment so I'm figuring you're here to understand him better, or at least learn a good build to use. I spent some time learning him from other players and by playing him myself. Though it's still not even close to the time I spent on my favorite god Fenrir. I do plan however to hit diamond once I find the time to do so.

Builds are mostly situational and even the best guide can't compensate for that. Don't get stuck in the mindset of only using the same build over and over and not countering the other team. Feel free to be creative on your own and use the right build in the right situation. This isn't really taught, it's LEARNED. You'll never learn if you're stuck listening to other's advice. Ao Kuang is at the moment the newest god. He's also very broken at the moment. Expect people to fight for the right to play Ao Kuang, so keep the mouse button ready for once you get into a game lobby. He has a very low skill floor so that's also a huge plus. Well that wraps up the introduction, so go check the other sections.

Actives

Blink
Teleports You.
Great for running for your life or for using a surprise King of the Eastern Seas to an enemy target. This is a great item, because this in a sense gives you 2 blinks. Water Illusion acting as 1.

Hand of the Gods
Damages Creeps.
Jungle Camps. It's also great for stealing them on the enemies side of the jungle. A must have for any Jungler. Also good for stunning someone about to escape or kill you.

Purification Beads
Makes you immune and removes Crowd Control for a few seconds. Reduces Cool down
Great item to consider if you are facing a cc heavy team. Otherwise try considering other options.

Sprint
Makes you immune to slows for a few seconds. Basic attack no longer slow you down
Great item to get if you need to land auto attacks and they keep dodging you. This also works well with retreating.

Great guide the only but I think you meant dragon call instead of storm call under stealth gank.

Drybear is hard to snipe these days. I'll put up alternates soon, just busy hanging with my friends lately.

Great guide, I especially like the ability explanation pictures. Can't wait for game-play videos, although i'm not sure you can get another one with Drybear yelling at you. Do you have any alternatives for Hastened Fatalis?

I use gimp it's completely free. Just takes layering. I usually cut out the image of a god card and put a background with a border.

You can use image editing software - even something as simple as microsoft paint.

First, you would need to get a copy of the image. If you were to make a guide for He Bo and wanted to use this image for example, just save it to your computer. Then edit it to add what you'd like, and finally upload it to an image hosting site such as imgur and then link it into your guide using .

Really like your guide, especially your design elements. Only note would be why you would want so much lifesteal on Ao Kuang with Bancroft's Talon and Polynomicon since he's so burst heavy. He's really too squishy to take advantage of the lifesteal they provide, and there are other ways to increase your magical power that could also help your penetration. Just a thought. Still, I really like the way you've approached Ao Kuang as a whole, will definitely try out some new ideas.

I like Bancroft's Talon not for the lifesteal, but for the power. You can potentially get 199 power from the item. Poly is debatable, though Lifesteal is completely useless I know this. I plan to add a alternative section when I have the time to get to it. For items I don't really use but others find successful when using them. Obsidian Shard is good if the enemy team has a bruiser and a tank. Honestly though if only the tank has defense I rather just sink most of my items into power.

I hate fatalis it doesn't offer any power. Though I understand why people pick it up, it's cheap and let's you stick to the enemy.

One hit and you're able to stick completely. This allows you to reliably land all your dragons to maximise yor damage, but it's a preference game. My suggestion would be to add it and some alternatives to an alternative item segment to add some more variety, but it's up to you. +1 though, great guide.

Hi Okami, Nice Guide!! I just want to point out 2 thing. The first one is that now u need to hit DIAMOND and not legendary (at the end of the first paragraph of the intro) And the second one would be adding Fatalis or even Chronus pendant to the build....if feed. It`s so fun being able to pop the Dragon Call like every 8 seconds. Again tnx for the guide.

PD: Another cool name for a build would be "Here comes the snake" Or something pervert like...Well, you can figure out by yourself =P
