This is my personal Ao Kuang build. Originally I thought it up on the spot but through continued used I've noticed that it works for the most part. I decided to put it down for others to see, ask questions, and add suggestions. So please leave questions and suggestions down in the comment section. Thank you =3
[P.S. No negative or rude comments please. Constructive criticism is fine but I have zero tolerance for ignorance or rudeness.]
I've decided to give you guys a full breakdown on why I put the items I put in my "core build" section.
"Shoes of the Magi"
-There is a simple reason I buy these over the others. CDR isn't really needed on Ao Kuang. And none of the others really help with fighting.
"Telkhines Ring"
-The reason I chose this item before its counterpart ("Demonic Grip") is due to the items passive. Early on in the game the 40 extra damage provided through this passive can really help you take someone down fast. The magical protection reduction is pretty good. But typically no one will have much magical protection early on.
"Hastened Fatalis"
-Since Ao Kuang obviously relies on his basic attacks, the passive to this item helps him out. Being able to keep attacking without a movement penalty will really help when they run from you.
"Demonic Grip"
-I buy this item solely due to the +25% attack speed. By the time you obtain this item your attack speed will be reaching somewhere around 1.7 if not mistaken. Could be more but I'm doubting less. (The 1.7 is including the increase the item provides.)
"Divine Ruin"
-The Divine Ruin is not an item I typically see often. I find this item to be useful from time to time. This item can easily be replaced with any one of the situationals I have provided. I use this when a situational is not absolutely necessary.
"Rod of Tahuti"
-The use of this item is pretty obvious. The magical power increase is useful when you get into more late game fights. You typically won't make it this far into the build if your team works well together and can end the match fast. But if you have to carry or if you are just good enough to be getting loads of kills this item will help you out a lot.
Situationals are pretty self explanatory. Some are to be used if you need more health to sustain against stronger enemies. Some are to counter the more tanky enemies.
Now the actives could be explained one by one but I don't think you wish to hear that. So let's make this quick and easy.
-The Combat Blink, Aegis Pendant, Greater Sprint, and Greater Purification Beads are all to be used if you need to get out of sticky situations.
-The HoG is used if you are jungling.
-The FoG, Weaking Curse, and the Greater Meditation are all for situations in which you need to stay in lane or get kills with ease.
