Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

This isn't to say you can't see success, but at higher levels of play, she'll likely find herself focused early and often.
If you do play her, I wouldn't suggest building any lifesteal items as this build is using, specifically because when you play Aphro you should expect anti-heal, and so it's not so beneficial getting items that are then going to be less effective. However, I would still consider
I would probably suggest something along these lines:
You expect to be near your teammates at all times so the aura from Embrace should help. Lotus will be your initial physical protection and enhanced prots that you can activate pretty often for you and your soulmate. Shogun's is just an option, but provides CDR, magical prots, and the buffed attack speed aura...and between the MP5 provided by Sent, Lotus, and Shogun's, you should never run out of mana. Asclep comes after for the healing boost, Mantle provides strong dual protections and more CDR, and you finish with Tahuti specifically for the scaling boost to healing. In all of this, Shogun's and Tahuti are likely your optional items; switch them out as you see fit.
If you want to go with a more traditional support build, I might suggest something like this:
In that build, you'll get higher early protections from Thebes, followed by a boost of CDR from BoV. Until you get BoV, you'll have to be careful w/ your mana use. Relic is optional, but you can give yourself some additional offensive utility if you go for
Others might have different suggestions, but these would be the types of builds I would use off the top of my head.
