Check of these items shown can all be good for Aphrodite in it's on way META or not. The main item you should look at is "Divine Ruin" this is so important when fight another Aphrodite,healers or lifesteal users. If you happen to see something of what i mention out the 3 listed. Buy divine ruin over any item in the build.
Shell is only useful fighting too much gods who use more basic attacks over abilities. If you happen to get in a game where the enemy team more basic attack than liabilities please buy these two relics (BEADS+SHELL).

Sands Of Time Starter Item Aphrodite Mid Lane: The Level One Start is shown above.

Warlocks Staff - This item will make up for her having another 10% PEN in the build which will add up to 20% or higher if you follow the builds. This means she can do more damage to tanks what will try to provoke her / Zone her out of fights. Also it will combine with breastplate giving Aphrodite more health to be more tanky and harder to kill making it a hard fight for the other team late game where she shrines best.

Lotus crown - Is a very strong item for Aphrodite because it makes her more bulky towards physical attackers and OBJs. Buy one defence item on Aphrodite is very important and allows the character to perform better with it than without. Reason for that is when Aphrodite is in a team fight she has to be the main target to die in order for the other team to win. With her being a strong healer in damage and unities it will make it very hard for the enemies to leave her alive when fighting. This item will provide her with 75 Physical Def, 15 Magical Def, 30 Power and little amounts of MP5. She can also give her soulmate 15 physical and Magical Def too once being healed by her.

Divine Ruin - If you need anti heal please buy this item otherwise buy Spear of Magus when the other team is low on life steal/healers or healing.

Soul Reaver - The more health Gods have the more damage you will deal to them. This item is mainly to get tanks out the way who are trying to kill you or pressure you to leave team fights.

Upgrade the starter item. THIS BUILD OVERCAPS CDR BY ONLY 10% AND IT'S THE BEST BUILD YOU CAN GET RIGHT NOW IN MID LANE. FOR RANKED, CASUALS OR SCRIMS.

Rod of Tahuti or Obsidian Shard - will provide Aphrodite with more damage towards tanks or players with magical defence to allow her to deal more damage and help the team out when killing tanks trying to pressure her out of team fights.
[RELICS] Aphrodite should always buy "Purification Beads" FIRST at Level 1. Once you reach Level 12 you can buy "Magic Shell". Normally you should buy Aegis at level 12 however if you are fighting gods based of Auto Attack a.k.a (AAs) like a Hunter mid lane, Auto-Attack Carry and Auto-Attack Jungle. Buy Magic Shell as it's more useful and better but you need to upgrade it around Level 18-20 which will cost 500 Gold.
THE UPGRADES FOR THE RELICS ARE SHOWEN ABOVE BY THE ICON DESIGN. PLEASE ONLY UPGRADE THESE RELICS IF YOU ARE AHEAD OR CAN AFFORD TO BUY ONE STAGE HIGHER.
RELIC YOU MIGHT NEED:
ALWAYS GET Purification Beads NO MATTER WHAT. UPGRADE TO Temporal Beads. Upgrade it by One stage once you have brought Spear of Magus or Divine that being the 3rd in the build.
Meditation UPGRADE TO Cloak of Ascetic is very strong on Aphrodite not for the extra healing but for the 1.5 seconds each pulse to allow you to gain another heal/ability back up to deal damage or self peel. (SOLO ONLY IF YOU WANT!)
Shell UPGRADE TO Fortifying Shell Is the Best 2nd relic you should be getting on her in Mid but it has Pros/Cons to why it works well or decently. I would buy this sometimes if not maybe Upgraded which I will explain next.
Heavenly Wings UPRGADE TO Entangling Wings This is will her be able to run from death and provide a root to all enemies around her making allies be able to kill the target if possible. With 20% Movement speed once used by her.
PLEASE READ FOR SOLO APHRODITE PLAYERS
You need to start on blue buff alone, once you hit the camp please wait for the 4 blue ghost minions to appear before using the Love Birds and Hands of the Gods. After you have used them both on the camp you'll reach lane the same time as the enemy solo.
Please make sure you upgrade relics and items at the right time not right away. Upgrading item/relics right away could be bad based off your GPM and game match up. If you are in a solid lead upgrading one to max is fine but when the team is behind or yourself it's not based to upgrade them as you need to gold for other things.
