Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, making them her soul mate and giving them both increased movement speed. If it hits an ally, it has a reduced 1s cooldown. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are Damaged, Stunned and Aphrodite's soul mate gets jealous, increasing their damage. Also, Aphrodite's soul mate gains 50% of her MP5 and 10% of her Physical and Magical Protections.

Agitated by all the attention, Aphrodite commands enemies to get away from her, doing damage around her, slowing them by 25% for 2s and knocking them back to 25 units from her.

If Aphrodite has a soul mate, an explosion originates on them in addition, dealing the same damage as well as slowing enemies.

If an enemy would be hit by both blasts, they will only be affected by the one originating from Aphrodite.

Introduction

Aphro is my main and most played goddess in Smite. A lot of people hate on Aphro and in my opinion its because Aphro can make or break a match. You have to be aware of who you counter, who counters you, and learn to play with who you are linked with. Also do not be afraid to add your own spin on any of these build and remember Smite is constantly changing and builds have to change with it.
I always recommend upgrading doves first no matter your role, because that is probably the most important piece of her kit.

Items

I feel all items I build on Aphro are self explanatory except one and that is my new favorite item: Shield of Regrowth. I feel this covers so much of Aphros flaws. It gives Aphro a form of an escape, it makes her tankier, and provides cooldowns. All Aphro needs. Obviously there are special circumstances and there is no way a guide can really prepare you for. So apply yourself to the match and think what items will counter the opponent. If they build tanky, build pen. If they have tons of heals, build divine ruin or pestilence. If they are constantly escaping your team, build gem of isolation. These are some of the circumstances. Aphro, in my opinion, can be built for almost any situation and turn the game in your favor if used properly. Also remember a build isn't the whole game, in fact most of smite is how you play the god/goddess.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Major Healing
- Can make not 1 but 2 gods invincible and cc immune with her ult
- Great Kill Denial Kit
- Decent CC
- Amazing Wave Clear
- Pretty Flexible for Roles in Conquest
Cons:
- No Escape
- Whole Kit is Basically based off Kiss and Missing it will penalize you and your team severely
- Out Damaged By Most other Mages
- Almost All Assassins just demolish her
- Kiss's link can reveal the assassin or junglers position

Combo/Tips

She really only has one combo and thats kiss into doves and then back off or 1 into 3 into 2
Tips:
Kiss can go through walls
Doves is great damage, wave clear, amazing heal, and Aphro's bread and butter
Back off is great for for protecting allies and kill stealing *evil laugh*

Gods to look out for

Ah Puch:
His 3 I believe has an effect where if you are healing it will stun you
Chang'e:
Has antiheal and will beat you face with moons
Bacchus:
Has antiheal
Sobek:
His pluck will end you and has antiheal
ALL ASSASSINS: use your knockback and stay the hell away

Gods who work well with Aphro

Odin: you can cover him after he is left vulnerable after his shield leap combo
Kali: Between Kali's heal, Aphro's heal, Aphro's ult, and Kali's ult when is Kali gonna die
Arachne: Aphro can cover her lack of escape
Most Hunters: Prevent people from getting in their face

I was looking at your Solo build since I'd like to play Aphro in this role. I'm not familiar with her at all though and I was wondering, why is there no penetration item at all ? Is that a problem ? People don't buy magical defense as much as physical defense but still.

I usually don't build pen but you can. I usually just like tank damage, heal allies, and spam my abilities because of low cooldowns. If you just keep spamming doves and back off on enemies, it usually does enough damage. Also, since you are in solo lane you will usually be ahead of the other roles. But you can build pen and it definitely works. I would recommend when building pen, build shoes of the magi for early pen. Then replace either rod of asclepius or rod of tahuti for like obsidian shard or spear of magus based of off the amount of enemy protections.
