Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

Although, when I think about it that might have an opposite effect where people think they can get away with making Builds only, and it becomes flooded with Builds.
I technically can't disagree with anything you have posted - the build isn't bad - but I'd swap Jotunn's for a lifesteal item, since he kind of needs to be in the middle of the fray all the time. His Made You Look falls off hard late game, so he'll be relying on auto attacks much more than any spell. Being able to sustain during that is important.
If you are worried about your penetration, get Asi. If not because you have Qin's Said, get Bloodforge.
Not a horrible build, but I would take out Jotunn's Wrath and replace it with something that has lifesteal. ( Asi or Bloodforge are both great choices).
The skill choice isn't bad or good, it just depends on your playstyle really. I prefer to upgrade my 2 first as I love the attack speed and the movement speed passive, but to each their own.
Although you should probably put "Build only" in the title, because this isn't a guide, it's just a build.
