Ares, being an anti-carry tank, is one of the most fun gods to play in Smite. His quick cool-downs also allow him to sometimes avoid boots. He also has an amazing power in initiating team fights and bringing the enemy gods together. This guide will be further updated when Ares is officially released in SMITEFIRE!
Pros:
-Can initiate team fights.
-Bring opposing players together.
-Many different ways to get good, unique builds.
Cons:
-Tanky, yet it's difficult to have a very high DPS.
-Can have very complicated builds and it is very difficult to tell precisely which build is better.
Above all else, this god can be a serious game changer beyond what anyone thinks and is VITAL to a teams success against high DPS's.
I am truly sorry for the lack of content in this guide, but this is merely to help the community of SMITEFIRE to get a grip on Ares until he is official in SMITEFIRE.

Are you kidding me? Low cooldowns? AP Ares? What?!?! The AP scaling on his abilities is terrible.
Don't you mean MP? This isn't LoL. I've been looking to build Ares as a hybrid bruiser myself. I don't like waiting for CDs.
