If your going for a slightly tanky or the more risky glass cannon. I can help you get to the god mode that Bellona can Achieve, just follow the builds and you'll be on your way.
You start out
This build is a bit off of the normal but still gets the job done with a mix of damage and defense.
Start of with smithy hammer (rune forge's little brother) and three health and mana pots and finish the hammer a.s.a.p.
Then go into hide of urchin to get the stacks on it going
Then frost bound to slow your enemy
After the three items listed, the utility of your god is unparalleled and will spiral depending on the other items you choose to get. Most of this is subjective to trial and error for me and I don't recommend Hide of the Urchin if you and your team are NOT getting kills. Be sure to call out when your ult is ready (as a tank) to maximize the chance of a kill for your stacks, the call can be made in the voice system as "VVVR."
I started out with this build and later went to choosing between the Tank or the Cannon
Both can be useful if you play style fits. This entails the passive aggressive to explosively aggressive play for the Cannon. While tank has you front lining BEHIND the minions so that you can push the wave and not die.
Be sure to call out when your ult is ready (as a tank) to maximize the chance of a kill for your stacks, the call can be made in the voice system as "VVVR." Enjoy the build, and rek your enemies.
This item can build off of your passive, meaning that you can GET MORE DAMAGE as you fight until you max your passive. If you fight an ADC and you use your whip and then shield bash(3 on to 1), you get the automatic upper hand by having some of your passive up along with a disarmed target that you build shield passive off of. Choose your fights carefully, if not, at least warn your teammates that your going in.
