Other Items to Consider

Notes If you do not want Charon's Coin Ob Shard is a good option for your %pen. Staff of Myrddin is a great item for Hera, being able to drop Argus and hit two back to back Polymorphs or Royal ***ualt helps deal massive damage. Polynomicon is great for the extra damage. Book of Thoth is a good item in general, is not a necesitty for Hera as it is for Kuku. Chrono's Pendant is always a good item for Mages, I personally almost never build it on Hera.

Playing Hera

Hera is a great god who is able to turn any team fight in your teams favor, when she is played right. She is a very versatile god who is able to quickly rotate between Solo lane and Mid lane when needed. When Argus is active Hera can have very good tower pressure by forcing your opponent to back off from the front line.
When being ganked by the enemy team, even without an escape alot of the time Hera can make a clean get away. If Argus is ready he can provide a good distraction. Divine Shroud will give you a nice speed boost that can help you get away quicker. If you are very good you can quickly spin around cast Polymorph and make your escape, since it is a very effective slow. Polymorph has saved me many, many times from death. I've gotten pretty good that most of the time I can spin around quickly cast it and usually hit most if not all of the people following me.

Combos

There are many different combos Hera is able to use with her kit. When Argus is available you will want to use the #3 and #4 combos always. If Argus is not available then you want to use your #5 and #6 combos. When dropping Argus you always want to be sure that you instantly activate your Divine Shroud. Shroud will not only slow the enemy player but is also will deal a small DOT.

1) Polymorph, Royal ***ualt, Basic Attack, Argus, Divine Shroud, Repeat
2) Royal ***ualt, Polymorph, Basic Attack, Argus, Divine Shroud, Repeat
3) Argus, Divine Shroud, Polymorph, Royal ***ualt, Basic Attack, Repeat
4) Argus, Divine Shroud, Royal ***ualt, Polymorph, Basic Attack, Repeat
5) Polymorph, Royal ***ualt, Basic Attack, Repeat
6) Royal ***ualt, Polymorth, Basic Attack, Repeat
