Nemesis swings her blade, dealing damage in an area in front of her. Enemies in the center of her swing are struck for 2x damage and Slowed for 2s.

Retribution

Nemesis activates a temporary Shield around herself that protects her from a set amount of damage, or until time expires. A percentage of incoming damage from gods is healed and reflected back to the source. Hard Crowd Control effects remove the Shield.

Nemesis chooses a single enemy god, reducing their Health and movement speed and stealing a portion of their Protections for a time period. Her movement speed is also increased during this time.

Explanation

Nemesis is a primarily basic attack focused assassin who may use abilities for a small portion of her damage, and so this build boosts her attack speed, penetration, protection shred and movement speed, alongside power, so you can eliminate squishys and tanks alike. These are the reasons behind each item:

Assassins Blessing - Essential for any jungler, this item provides early camp clear potential and sustain in the jungle for Nemesis, and once evolved adds some penetration and movement speed for faster rotations.
Ninja/Warrior Tabi - While offering different stats, both of these boots obviously provide necassary movement speed but also a cheap boost to Nemesis’ early DPS, either through bursty power or faster basic attacks.
Talaria Boots - An alternative to the Tabi, Talaria boots offer less offensive capabilites but provide extra movement speed for chasing down targets or rotating through the jungle for ganks, boosting Nemesis’ mobility alongside her dashes.
Crusher - With a strong blend of power, penetration and attack speed for a relatively low price, Crusher adds a lot of damage to Nemesis’ early basic attacks and abilites, and the passive also adds extra oomph to her abilities.
Ichaival - In terms of base stats, Ichaival perfectly matches Nemesis’ needs with a lot of attack speed and power for hard-hitting basic attacks, combined with a passive which further amplifies her power and nullifies enemy attack soeed. This item is the optimal boxing item which compliments her passive.
Stone Cutting Sword - Much like Ichaival, Stone Cutting Sword boosts Nemeis’ already strong boxing capabilities by buffing her protections and reducing enemies, but the protection shred combines with her ultimate to allow her to shred even the tankiest of supports with this item.

You should put up 1-2 examples of a build to show the order you'd buy all the items and your average ratio of damage items to protections. Right now it is a little too general.
EDIT: Also a starting buy would be great

I agree. Right now it just looks like Bean picked pretty much every physical item and threw it into the build. That can work great for soups, not so much for builds.

I would also level Retribution over Swift Vengeance because Retribution gives shield and Heal while Swift Vengeance only gives you damage, which isn't insane.

Nemesis is decent as an AA god, but is a lot better with AD. I would get Assassin's Blessing and then T1 Hammer with pots and blink for start, and then get Talaria/Warrior (Ninja's doesn't work for AD), finish Hammer with Crusher, then Void Shield, Spirit Robe, Jotunn's, and sell Blessing for Beat Stick if enemy has healing or Titan's Bane. In late game, you can sell boots for Speed Pot and something with decent damage like Hydra's or whatever.
