Hello SmiteFire! I am new to the community but a veteran of SMITE, and I have been using Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt quite frequently as of late. She is an AD Carry who can also function as a ganker/Assassin. Her passive, Still Target, boosts her crit chance upon basic attacks landing. Her 1, Transgressors Fate, is a snare/ward that can trap enemy gods and damages them slightly. Her 2, Vengeful Assault, is an attack speed and movement speed buff. Her 3, Suppress the Insolent, is an aoe damaging slow. Finally, her 4, Calydonian Boar, is a damaging stun that auto-attacks enemy gods. The build in this guide has been specifically engineered to take advantage of her critical chance and lifesteal. The logic behind this is more damage (critical hits)+more lifesteal=more HP gained. Now, to the items!
Meditation is included for obvious reasons: Artemis gets pretty mana-hungry early- and mid-game, so you'll want to be using this to use your 2 and your 3 to take down towers and minions, respectively.
Sprint is for making getaways, as you won't be able to afford Hastened Fatalis early-game if you happen to get in trouble. However, Blink is also a viable option, since you'll be covering roughly the same distance, but you'll need Combat Blink to use it in a fight.
Healing Potions are pretty self-explanatory; they can also be used in conjunction with Sprint for a sure getaway early game.
These work much better than Qin's Blades, since they do more damage after the opponent has around ~50% HP remaining. The attack speed and physical power is also nice vs. minions and for poking enemy gods.
Once at Tier 3, the crowd control offered by Golden Bow makes short work of minions and allows you to concentrate on using Vengeful Assault (her 2) to down towers.
Hastened Fatalis's passive is amazing; since there is no more movement debuff while attacking for 1 second, you just need to keep landing basic attacks on a chase to score kills. The movement speed also helps for quick getaways.
Rage's passive in tandem with Art's passive combined with the 30% critical hit chance from Rage itself makes for at least 1 crit every 5 basic attacks hits, although it will be like 2-3 hits every 5 shots in reality. That's crazy, when you look at her attack speed with this build.
Asi capitalizes on this, since a greater damage output means greater HP gained from lifesteal. The attack speed is nice as well, and the passive is amazing during low health periods. You can just last-hit a couple minions instead of wasting a Healing Potion.
The final say in critical hit items, Deathbringer is the ultimate item for Artemis. 50% more critical hit damage means a ~2-3 hit kill on non-Guardians and non-Warriors. That's INSANE!
This is Art's snare/ward. You should max this out last, because it does the least damage. However, if placed correctly i.e. at Jungle entrances/exits, it can be used to avoid potential ganks and make a quick escape. Being a ward, it alerts you to ganks even before being activated, thus increasing its utility.
Here's looking at the best buff in Art's arsenal. Her attack speed hits 250% (2.5) with this triggered, and coupled with a near 100% crit chance it can net several kills. The movement speed buff used in tandem with Sprint can make for a handy escape sequence.
This is the physical aoe damaging slow. It can be used to kill several minions (or at least hit them) simultaneously, but use it wisely; you do not want to be out of mana when Mediation has 40 seconds of cooldown remaining, and this drains mana very quickly.
Art's ulti, this thing is a beast: after an ally god has initiated a teamfight, use this and then get the hell out of there. It knocks back minions and enemy gods in its rush to sic a specific god, so use this 1 second stun to your advantage to get some kills.
Pros:
Creeping:
And there you have it! This build is sure to cause commotion on the battleground, and it can be used for ganks as well as pushing. It is extremely versatile with high movement and attack speed, as well as high critical hit chance and damage output. Overall, this is a very effective combination of items to secure several assist and kills. Have fun wrecking stuff!

because this is something i see level 4 players build who know a tiny bit about the game. no offence but this is a terrible build.
first of.
you have no boots...
meditation (i will murder it some day) it is a terrible active that you should never in any case build in concuest. it is litterly the worst active.
golden bow. it is a very situational item and should only be build if you are very far behind. it is not worth the gold.
qins sais. its a good item but shouldn't be build so as early as you do.
hasted fatalis. good item but a wast on artemis. she has so much cc and sticking power that she does not need HF.
TO MUCH ATTACK SPEED! you will go over the cap with this build. switch asi out for something harder hitting and its fine. switch hated out for boots and your fine but build boots early. switch golden bow out for a better item either a bit of protection or more damage.
the bb coding like methioned above is ugly and chaotic.
EDIT:
can never ever defeat a decent agni? what?
first off you will never face agni in duo lane and second of that is purely dependend on skill. a good artemis can defeat a decent agni. i guess that says something about your skill with her.
^ If you put that, you obviously havent mastered nor do you fully understand the game and you probably shouldnt be making guides and trying to teach others when you yourself dont even know... Do your research before trying to teach...
meditation is unnecessary. She isn't that mana hungry to that state.
blink /
There are is no footwear. Only
The BB coding is terrible. It's too obstructive and chaotic.
transgressors fate doesn't provide ward vision like it used to...
The skill explanation and order aren't good.
This isn't a good guide. I'm sorry for bashing on it so hard, but, no one's first guide is good.
