1 X
Cerberus's snake tail spits venom that passes through and damages Enemies. If Cerberus's dog heads are Alert, they then also spit venom when the ability is fired. Each head is alerted upon hitting an Enemy with a Basic Attack, and all are alerted after Ghastly Breath. Each projectile that hits the same target deals 20% less damage, but hitting an Enemy with all 4 Stuns them.

Ability Type: Area, Stun, Damage
Damage: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+20 of your Magical Power)
Stun Duration: 1.4 / 1.5 / 1.6 / 1.7 / 1.8s

Ghastly Breath

2 A
Each of Cerberus's 3 heads releases a cone of noxious breath in front of them, damaging all Enemies in range 7 times over 2.4s and reducing their Magical Protection up to three times. Enemies in the center of his breath are also Slowed up to three times. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

Ability Type: Cone, Debuff, Damage

Introduction

Hello, my name is ChanceVeiga and some of you may remember me from my Ares passive build and I'm back doing another Build for Cerberus, Warden of the Underworld. Considering he is a new god right now people are testing him out and seeing what might work, for this build i'll show you how I play him because i'm aggressive when playing as Cerberus. So lets get started. Note there are a few changed considering one of the recent updates changed all the starter items into blessings.

Pros / Cons

okay so here are the Pros and Cons of Cerberus

    Pros
1) His passive allows for healing from the enemy while reducing their own healing.
2) He can self heal through the use of his Soul Expulsion and thus can be hard to take down in group engagements.
3) can be a bruiser or a tank
    Cons
1) can be vulnerable to multiple early game engagements so pick your fights carefully.
2) doesn't start with much mana and protection so refer back to con 1.
3) very little escape options.

Items

Okay now that the Pros/Cons are out of the way lets get to the items that at least work for me with this particular build.

The first item you should buy is Warriors Blessing.
the reason I pick this item is because of the play style with this build. Personally I go with warriors blessing because it allows you to last longer in aggressive engagements.

The next items are shoes and health chalice so you have a start for movement speed and a way to sustain your self in combat outside of Soul Expulsion. With those items the starter set is done and now to the core set.

the core set is simple a way to build damage and defense, so finish your shoes and turn it into reinforced shoes for the passive of stacks of magical and physical protection. After that go with Hide of the Urchin for the stacks, and lastly finish the core with Book of Thoth for mana and magical power. The core is stack based so you can go the entirety of the building up to the max stacks and be very powerful and tanky if played right.

The next item to get is Spirit Robe for the damage mitigation and cool down reduction along with CC reduction too. Following Spirit Robe is Warlock's Staff so you can build up more Magical power and health through out the game.

Finally the last item is a choice and at this point you should of already sold Warrior's blessing to build towards one of these items: Book of the Dead, Gem of Isolation, Pestilence, or Stone of binding. These items depend on how the situation has developed for you and your team and where you are in terms of kills on your team or how close you are to the enemy titan and vise versa.

The Relic you need to pick first need to be Meditation cloak because even if you are getting aggressive you are still a support or tank for your team so your job is to make sure you and your teammates last as long as they can near you. After that go with either Magic shell for longevity, Cursed Ankh for enemy heal reduction, or horrific emblem for the movement speed reduction.

Consumables to choose are Mana Chalice, Ward, and,Sentry Ward.

from this you should have a better understanding for why I chose these items and why its good for Cerberus.

Skills

With Cerberus's skills I chose the order based on what can allow me to clear the lane fast but also what would work by the time i get to level 5, so here are his skills in the order I maxed then by.

1) Ghastly Breath: This ability has Cerberus attack with all three of his heads dealing damage for 2.4 seconds in a cone. Enemies at the center of the attack are slowed and all three heads are alert. I maxed this one first because at early game its a good lane clearer and slower against minions and enemy good and it combos with Paralyzing spit and soul Expulsion.

2) Paralyzing Breath: Cerberus's snake tail spits venom that passes through and damages opponents. If Cerberus's head are alert then they also spit venom, and while each head that attack with ability reduce damage if en enemy is hit by all 4 head they are stunned for a period of time.

3) Soul Expulsion: Cerberus's leaps toward a target destination and hits the ground causing damage to all targets around him. If targets are hit there souls are separated from they and move towards Cerberus dealing no damage to him. Each soul that Cerberus defeats heals him.

4) Stygian Torment: Cerberus howls causing the souls of the dead to lift enemy gods in the air for a period of time. At the end of the=at time enemies are pulled towards him.

Summary

In summary Cerberus is a very flexible guardian that can self-sustain, and deal massive damage, but can be weak early game. look to pair him with god that can back him up and let him escape if his health is to low to recover from at the moment. Also experiment wit the items, I want feedback so I can try to make this guide a lot better and Cerberus an unforgiving god to your enemies. Also give consideration to the fact that I'm a console player so if you suggest an item I haven't seen on console then I wont put it on this guide until its on console.

Trust me I’ve been asking my self why I put Rangda’s mask on there because I barely use it but I think it was for the cool down to pull my abilities out faster but I’m planning on editing this build and tweaking as I go and play Cerberus.
