This build is super situational if you have to go against more mages.
Change as needed, but majority of the time this build will dominate.
OKAY THIS IS WHAT I WAS SAYING DOWN THERE:
These are completely situational. You will know which to buy depending on who you go against.
BLINK OR MAGIC SHELL ARE MY TOP TWO (DEPENDING ON WHAT TEAM BUILDS AND WHO THEY GO)
Lets discuss this build:
EARLY BUILD
Warriors Axe: Warriors offering you +15 physical power and +10 Physical Protection
Jotunn's Wrath: +35 physical power, +20% cooldown +10 penetration and +150 mana
(NOTE: YOU CAN ALSO REPLACE JOTUNN'S WRATH FOR SEKHMET'S; BOTH ARE GOOD)
My Experience: Each time I run this build the early stages are extremely easy. My solo opponent has a hard time pursuing me without taking tremendous damage from the axe throw and such.
My most recent game, I was dominating Achilles within the first 5 minutes of the game which led me to have tons of gold and beat him in levels--this allowed me to wander off my lane and steal his buff, take my buff, take the totem and etc while he is still focusing on clearing my minions.
After I build Jotunn Wrath, I stay in my lane for quite some time before I recall to purchase breastplate of regrowth. At this point, I am already dealing a lot of damage, ahead of the game in levels and have time to gank or steal buffs.
At this point, you should be well off on gold and this is where it can get situational; Magical protection should be the next purchase rather than gladiator shield.
For the sake of this specific build, I won't get deep into that.
Now the reason why I Choose breastplate of regrowth is because it provides movement speed when healing with the rain; you can use this to chase down enemies, rotate, or escape. It has saved my life as many times as it has helped me finish off kills while healing myself.
For the crusher, I'd switch it for brawlers beat stick if necessary--otherwise I would keep crusher.
I seen a lot of builds that have heart seeker within this item slot, but for myself, the 5th buy is rather situational or more power.
if you bought sekhmet's first then jotunn's cunning wouldn't hurt to buy. vice versa.
Expanding off my experience using this build,
- I was able to get 7 kills within the first 10 minutes of Slash
- Hold off for longer in my solo lane
= Have control over my side of jungle
= Not worry about a gank since I can deal damage and take damage
- Escape from multiple enemies
- Save teammates
- Chase down low health enemies
- Handle group fights while protecting my teammates
- Most damage, most gold and most kills for majority of game
My observed weaknesses:
= Low magical damage late game. ( I am able to eat Kuku's ult for breakfast early game
- Cooldowns will depend on if you buy sekhmets or jotunns wrath.
- You have to be very cautious about mana early game (not all the time)
- This build does not work well against a seasoned HADES player.
Honestly, I have had nothing but success with this build when it came to clearing my lane, getting my buff, stealing the buff and gank mid.
Clear the Wave: Before rotating, ensure that your wave is pushed or cleared so that you don't lose farm and experience in the solo lane.
Use Ultimate Strategically: Chaac's ultimate, "Storm Call," can be a powerful initiation tool. Save it for the gank to provide crowd control and damage during the engagement.
Positioning: Approach mid lane through the jungle to avoid enemy vision. Aim to engage from an advantageous position, such as behind the enemy mid laner.
Combo Abilities: Initiate with your axe throw (Thunder Strike) to slow the enemy mid laner, making it easier to land your other abilities. Follow up with your teleport (Torrent), and use your ultimate for maximum impact.
My experience, I usually can handle a 1v2 when their jungle attacks me.
I get gank'd quite often since I am always dominating the lane--my opponent always camps tower which incentivizes the jungle to gank me.
I will say that this will only work well if you are skilled enough to handle a 1v2 because you will take twice the damage but both will be quite squishy to you.
Take your time and don't rush to get into a fight when not needed.
Ward Placement: Regularly place wards in key locations, such as entrances to the jungle, to provide vision and early warning of enemy rotations.
Map Awareness: Pay close attention to the minimap, especially if the enemy jungler is missing from other lanes. This helps anticipate potential ganks.
Positioning: Stay near your tower when the enemy jungler is not visible on the map. Position yourself in a way that makes it difficult for the enemy to initiate a successful gank.
Conservative Engagements: Avoid overly aggressive plays without vision or knowledge of the enemy jungler's location. Chaac's lack of mobility makes it crucial to play cautiously.
Timely Retreats: If you sense a gank is imminent or see the enemy jungler approaching, immediately retreat towards your tower and play defensively until the threat has passed.
Pros of running Chaac in the solo lane:
Sustain: Chaac has excellent sustain with his passive ability, allowing him to stay in lane for extended periods.
Safe Laning: His abilities provide good poke and clear, allowing him to farm safely.
Disruptive Ult: Chaac's ultimate, the "Storm Call," can be a game-changer in team fights, providing crowd control and damage.
Cons:
Mana Dependence: Chaac can be mana-hungry, especially early in the game, which may require careful management.
Limited Mobility: He lacks a direct dash or leap, making him susceptible to ganks if overextended.
Predictable Kit: Skilled opponents might predict Chaac's abilities, making it crucial to mix up strategies for effectiveness.
If these cons are hurting your feelings then, you can offset them with
Mana Sustain: Build items that provide mana sustain, such as Breastplate of Valor or Blackthorn Hammer, to alleviate Chaac's early-game mana dependency.
Mobility: To compensate for limited mobility, items like Shield of Regrowth or Blink Rune can help Chaac engage or disengage more effectively.
Disruption and Defense: Prioritize items that enhance his disruptive potential and overall survivability. Options include Mystical Mail for continuous damage in team fights and Spirit Robe for additional crowd control mitigation.
