Intro

This is a build only, not a guide. When I play Chang'e I like to play her more as a Bruiser than all out glass cannon. Once you have a few cooldown items, she can have great utility and a useful team player. I buy my cooldown items first, then get some defence/health and finish with some damage. Usually I buy some form of lifesteal, polynomicon is good as she's an ability spammer, so you proc polynomicon regularly. I also get gem of isolation for the health, damage and of course the annoying passive!

This build is very situational, hence all the alternatives. It is with your own discretion that you must decide how to build in game. Have fun!

+Brief damage Immunity (+cc immunity)
+Easy to use kit
+Game changing ult

Cons

-Fairly low damage for a mage
-One of the weaker heals in the game
-Easily locked down once your 2 in on cooldown
-Passive - although great - is easy to forget about

Summary

As can be seen from the video examples, she isn't great at 1v1 situations - especially with this build which sacrifices some damage for defenses and utility. However, her team presence is where her greatness lies.

As with every build, it is up to you to decide which items suit the game you are in, but I hope this build offers you some ideas to play with. Hope you have as much fun with this build as I have.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
