Lets face it, Charybdis has terriable survivability and loses in most matchups unless played well. Her early game isn't that great, but she can become a devil in disguise mid to late game if played well.
I've seen a lot of build guides, most of which just tell you to go attack speed and crit, i've been grinding her out for the past while and realized that attack speed & crit isn't the best way to go about it. Wind Demon is enough of a crit item you need on her.
The skill order is the same in any build, max the one first followed by the two, then the three. Level the ult whenever you can, it gives a major damage output if hit, but this ult is very difficult to hit a skillful player with as you can just move to the side to dodge it unfortunatly. Her three is used as her escape, sometimes you can use it to chase people with, but i wouldn't reccomend this as it leaves her really vulnerable afterwards.
This build is primarily for focusing on the hunters, mages or assassins in the game, if you feel like the tanks are gonna be pointless to go after, i reccomend this build. I have had huge success with this going against the meta hunter builds in joust and conquest!
Crit is good and all, but this build gives charybdis the same dmg output as crit does on the squishier openants.
In this, you can swap out dominance or heartseeker for anything in the other options list depending on what you are looking for.
If you don't want to upgrade the leather cowl, you could swap it out for just about anything, crit (Wind demon) anti-healing (toxic) etc.
This Build is to primarily focus on the tanks of the game, while still being abkle to punish the hell out of the squisjies as well.
This is if you want to focus on the tanks, you can swap out the crusher or dominannce into whatever else you may need, but i do reccomend the asi and qins for the tanks, the lifesteal really is a big help early game, and you could even swap it out later on if needs be.
If you don't want to upgrade the leather cowl, you can swap it out for most things depending on whats needed in the situation and weather you need more anti-healing or even defense.
This is my usual dual's build, i usually dont go that specific end build, there is always a need to build defence and even at times anti-healing, so just go with whats needed but theres the general idea of what the build could be like.
Relic options really is up to yourself, if they got CC go beads, if high dmg aegis (normally you want to go beads & aegis) but if you feel like you could easily outplay certain gods you could even go med cloak and stay in the fights a bit longer or even stay for farm.

I've talked about her kit in other areas, but I will say I don't feel her kit flows well. I feel this is the biggest reason she's not more effective. HR has been talking about her having a "steep learning curve," which I'm not sure I agree with. Her kit is pretty straightforward IMO. Then you look at her win rate, and it's at the absolute bottom, and I think this sort of shows that she's on the weaker side overall. Those buffs coming should help.
One other thing that might play into it is the amount of lifesteal you build. In your squishy full build example (if you follow that without subbing in Asi), your only source of lifesteal is Leather Cowl / Hunter's Cowl. Gods that build Asi regularly are likely to out-trade you.
