Intro

I know what you are thinking, "Double stacking in duo? You must be crazy". Maybe I am, but there is something about using Soul Eater with an ability based god like Chiron and AMC that just makes me so happy. You cannot go wrong with a Transcendence start, and getting some life steal early on is also really good just for some sustain. Soul Eater is better than other life steal items for Chiron, in my opinion, because of the 10% pen, 10% CDR, and the bonkers life steal you get just from poking enemies and minions from your 1 and 2. If you do not like this method, you can always go Asi as an alternative due to its buff in power, but it will take a little more time to get online.

Item Explanation

I personally don't believe attack speed or crit build Chiron is efficient. His abilities are massive in terms of raw dmg, and you will be hitting like a truck with your basic attacks with the high percent penetration and flat penetration to either tanks or squishies. This is how I play Chiron: lots of CDR and lots of Pen.

I typically go for the usual start with Chiron, going with Bluestone and Transcendence. After Transcendence is build, depending on how much of a threat I am dealing with in lane, I either go Soul Eater to survive more, or Crusher for some more pressure in lane. The entire goal for this build is to get to max CDR while also being able to deal with the high health and defense gods by getting Pen. With this core build you see, your ultimate hits are going to be hitting so hard, it could potentially kill a squishy 100-0 (if you can hit them that is). Brawlers Beat Stick is almost always going to be in your build because of it's new passive ability, granting you in particular even more power. Once you have your sixth item, I personally sell my Bluestone for Jotunn's Cunning for the full CDR and even MORE CDR from its passive, making your abilities come off super quick. You can always keep your Bluestone for the Brooch upgrade, it does an insane amount of percent dmg on top of 200 dmg (before mitigations). I just prefer the max CDR.

Here is how you should play Chiron in lane:

Lane Clear - Always line up your 1 with the entirety of the minions, it does a lot of dmg. But, if you use this on an enemy god, you will lose a lot of lane clear potential; situational, of course. Using your 2 after your Bluestone wears off (2 seconds) to make the most out of your Bluestone DOT, making for a very powerful and fast lane clear for early game. Your 3 is mostly there for your own positioning/safety/engagement.

Boxing in Duo - There is really only one way to play Chiron in a boxing match (efficiently): initiating with basic attacks to apply your passive from your 2 (Target Mark), then using your 2 to slow them dramatically, then under your slow, use your 1 to hit them with a big slap of dmg. When they are running away, chase them down with the most broken pursuing ability in the game, your 3. You are able to attack while charging forward at a great speed, and knocking them behind you, whichever direction you are facing when you hit them with the charge. This is an amazing way to control your enemy's position, and to also do a good amount of dmg from basics and the ability charge. Your ultimate is far more powerful than any ability you have… if you can hit the enemy with it, that is. It’s mostly used to guarantee a kill, but the further it has to travel, the less likely you will be able to hit with it. It’s best synergies when you have your 2 up with it, as it applies Target Mark as well. But it’s not only a finisher, and can easily steal any objective kills, or even be a great initiative to a surprised cluster of enemies when you blow them up with 3 hits and use your 2!

All of Chiron's abilities are a massive threat to anyone in lane, making him a great ADC with low CDR. controlling your enemy and constantly applying pressure with your slows and massive dmg bursts makes anyone turn tail and run.

Why is Brooch situational?

If you read the Item Explanation in the guide I had posted, you would see my reasoning for it. But, the reason is: I personally sell my bluestone for some more CDR, like Jotunn's. Which is why it's upgraded version is "situational" for my build.

Jotunn's in this specific build especially last item will just be inefficient lategame when you get red pots, meaning 10% cdr from Jotunn's is wasted. It would be better to get Jotunn's in Soul Eater's spot and skip Soul Eater completely, given you a chance to get Bluestone Brooch last which you should 100% be buying on Chiron.

Too low aspd for marking enemies. Works only if u have avangard.

You kind of make your own point irrelevant. If you cannot hit your opponent with a basic attack, how would increasing attack speed also make you hit your opponent? You HAVE to learn to hit basic attacks, especially on your first initiation basic attack, as Chiron, as it is crucial for his rotation, poke, and threat. I have always found attack speed builds to be the "easier" build for most gods, but not the best ultimately. Would you play Ullr with attack speed? You could, but it is not the best build for him. Same applies to Chiron.

What?

Anyway current Chiron build is:

Brooch > Trans > Jotunn's > Crusher > Heartseeker > Titan's/Brawler's

It`s an old build, unplayble now. hard to mark with low aspd. Especially on Arena/Joust.
