Team Work

Team work. It will help. The reason i chose that title is because of all the times you can save your fellow gods or help them die.( I will be updating this guide repeatedly if i feel i set something up wrong)

This is my first build submitted built on what i have experinced as Cabra. I play on Xboz 1.

I wanted a new tank after mastering Xing. My friend suggested Cabra. At first i didnt really like his skills, but as you play and master him you will quickly find yourself being focased. I play arena so going pure tank isnt the funnest to me. This build will make you into a tyrant taking 120k dps in games and pissing 80k of it into the wind. I usually get anywhere from 15-30k dps.

So right off the bat i head for the shoes. Get those 900 boots and the starter part of the gauntlets. Relic is basic med cloak. Some people like to go blink right off the bat. But med cloak is great team suppport and amazing in the start of arena matches where mana is scarce. I go the Magic Boots because while with the pen boots the pen is nice. But 5 more magic power no cdr reduce and no mana given i dont see an advantage. Especially since you will find yourself short on mana at some points. When that does happen juat tell your team whats up and get you some. Get out there and support your team!

On your first death if it happens or you find yourself about to die. Gtfo. Go get your boots finished up. Once you have gotten the gauntlets the 50+ 50+ will begin to stack. When it finishes. Thats 60 of each defense. Thats a good bit. Plus the health regen and like 200 health i think. And its nice for your buddies. With a 10+ defense to both magic and physical defense. Thats 60 total defense for both. 200 health and 10 hp5.

Depending
on who you are fighting and or if you are getting hit by a loki or whomever. Change 3 and 4s postion. If you are just dominating. Go for 3 first. The lowered defense for your enimies is going to visibly show the difference in your damage output. As to address the choice of helmet. The helmet is there literally because it is the strongest physical item that will give a good bit of damage. You could go for the 1700 if you are feeling riskay. Oh. The stacks the helmet provides gives you extra defense when not in combat. So lokis little backstab will do less if you are running or something. It also gives you mp regen. Which Cabra needs. Oh around this time you will get your second relic. I use blink. Because you can really mess some teams up appearing by their mage and bashing him for good measure while your team comes for him.
Another thing i should mention is that i never level my relics. I just find getting the items faster is to my advantage. Void stone is the jam for most tanks i have played with. The lowering of magical defense on squishy enimies who have built no defense in the first place is beautiful.Plus a little extra power and magical defense. Let me correct myself for the second time. If you were to get these and were say level 13 you are at 160 magic/phsical 30 hp5 10 plus 120 magic power and void stone debuff that will turn squishy into goo.

At the point you have those items completed. Your damage and defense is pretty decent. So you should be messing them up decently. Im assuming at this point you have read his skills and all that so you have an idea of what you are doing.

Items 5 and six. Those two items. I change the constantly depending on the situation. The spirit robe is generally my go to. The damage mitigation just adds a whole another level of annoyance that should be you at this point. Taking back to back ults to cc and run away. 40 plus to both physical and magical is a good boost. CDR reduction is always nice. And CC reduction is just a good thing to have. This guy is a walking target. You will learn that.

At this point it is your choice. Alot of people like poly or gem of iso. Those are both nice and have decent effects. But i dont like either. Poly works well for his 1 skill. But I dont often find myself finishing people with it. I usually use it as my opener. I may punch once before i 2 and then three. So i think overall power is a better choice. As to Gem of Isolation. The power and health are nice. Same for cc reduce. But most times you throw down your 3 enimies are going to aim for you. Given with this build you can take alot of abuse. I choose The Rod of DaBooty. Because of its power and effect. If you havent won yet this little badboy is gonna kick your dps a good chunk and make it so you get that extra little increase when they go below 50% health. . You will still deal a good bit of damage without another damage item at all. If it comes down to it and the spirit robe didnt do it. I usually throw on Mantle just to be all that more beefy.

This is all based on my personal experience using cabra in arena. I mention some things on skills below. Now good luck and get Craka Lacken!

Some things i think might be helpful.

You are going to be the target if you play this right. Be smart. Run if you must.

I felt i should have mentioned this early. Every one of the stacks you get for your 2 gives you more protection. They can be quite useful. But if you drop them at the wrong time it could cost you.

Do not be afraid to cancel your 3. It will often make you a target and i find it leaves you open.

Your three is an excellent way to save an ally. Slow those chasing enimies.

Choose who you hit first wisely. You have a good bit of power and with the lowered magic defense from void stone. You can really chunk out some health. I go for their damage if i can manage it.

Use your 1. Stun first target. Use your 2 for that extra chunk. At this point your judgement comes into play regarding whether to 3 and slow that guy down for your teamates to show up. Or needing to get out and re postion to do it again. Or just to survive.

When you and your buddies have them pushed to their spawn and you have kiled one or two and are try to finish the others before they run. Or before reinforcments arrive. Toss that rock wall i front of their spawn door. You might buy enough time who knows.

Run. For gods sakes run if you have to. Lives are points and even as the tank you shouldnt be sacrificing yourself willy nilly.

Your ultimate needs to be aimed slightly ahead of your intended targets or target. People claim his ult isnt very useful. But if well used you can save, kill and hinder all in one. If you dont want someone running away throw a rock wall infront on them and 1 2 3 them.

This guide is meant for arena. As for the leveling of your skills. I always go for a mix between 1 and 2. I figure it goes without saying that you should get your ult lol. I only put one point into 3 because it is something i use cautiously. The 1 and 2 i am literally using constantly. Oh. I also clear minions with 3 because you never know and its always good to keep your stuns and or if needed. Escape routes. Something i often do is break off of combat to out run and enemy to either A escape or B give some unlucky enemy player a solid bash to the head to help a teamate out. Or just to save them.

Be smart. Pick your targets. Help your team. And as said. Run if you need to.

Your ult can kill your allies or save them. The same with enimies. Consider your aim before you go getting your rocks off.

This was my first build submitted. Im sure i didnt cover it all. Tell me what you think. Thanks for reading!

* I tried to fix any mistakes i made numericly and spelling wise*

Pros / Cons

Pros: Good damage and surviablity.
