I agree with stone of gaia but only if it's actually useful against the enemy team comp/lane phase....if you're support and against a lane like Anhur, Apollo, Bacchus, Ganesha, Jorm, Xing, Hou Yi, Jing Wei, etc. then sure but if not then probably go something else like stone of binding, glad shield, relic dagger or even a little bit of damage like a divine ruin or chronos(also for that CDR which is needed on Charon imo). Also for a thematic build throw in Charon's Coin :)

Agreed that CDR is absolutely key here. While Gaia's health regen can be nice especially when you don't back often, you want better utility within a fight, especially if there are multiple engagements within a short time. With Charon's CDs (15s, 14-12s, 15s, 110s ult), more CDR is really helpful to DO more in an elongated fight.

In a general sense, there are at least 3 candidates to adjust itemization.
  • While having both Prophetic Cloak and Gauntlet of Thebes makes you very tanky and gives you great auras together, you don't necessarily need both. Choose one as a base and one as an option for flexibility.

  • Stone of Gaia: Functional against knockups/knockbacks for health regen...the utility is just survivability for you. No one else on your team directly. It provides high health but no prots. Needs a certain type of CC to get the added effect. Ripe candidate for replacement.

  • Mail of Renewal: Yet another item that is mainly focused on health regen, but it's potentially more functional. You're getting the regen based on damage taken, but the CD for the effect is 1 minute. Also provides increasing protections which is nice. I would probably take this over Gaia.
Items that should be considered as options:
  • Spectral Armor: counter crits for your team
  • Pridwen: high boost of CDR, almost core at this point. Glyph options.
  • Magi's Cloak: Just offering as an alternative of sorts, provides CDR, small prots, health, and you can get a functional glyph (e.g. help for a teammate via Magi's Shelter).
Other options can obviously be functional, but don't want to list and talk about all of them...Binding, Shogun's, Ethereal, etc.

I think the objective of this build is to get the maximum health possible with items and his passive Ferryman of Souls in order to improve Heroism and Damnation effects, popping some big shields for the team, and self extra healing with Mail of Renewal and Stone of Gaia passives

In my opinion, this build it's great, but it's true that it lacks on cdr and maybe a way to avoid losing too much health could be swapping Oni Hunter's Garb with Genji's Guard or even an Eldritch Dagger. But anyways, if it's meant for conquest or not, in any case it should work just fine.
