Hello guys, my name is Shadow***ba and this is my third smite fire guide for cupid the god of love.
I primarily play Joust 1v1's hence this is a guide for Joust 1v1's, However unlike my Arachne guide this will not be as long but give you all you need to know!
In the pick and ban phase cupids biggest counters are: Chang'e Bellona Bakasura. If the enemy pick any of these gods you will have a hard time. Chang'e can use her cc and damage imunity build into her kit to mitigate all damage from your heart bomb and your ult rendering you useless.Bellona can disarm you causing you unable to use your basic attacks also she is so tanky that she can live through your burst so you are highly likly to loose this match up! Bakasura Can become cc immune making your ult ineffective and can kill you quite easily but you can win this match up if you play it right.
When you get into the game pick up the items above. Once you have done that put two points into your first ability heartbomb. Then if you plan on invading then put a point into your dash (3rd ability). CUPID CANNOT DO A BUFF!!!! He has terrible early buff clear either invade or kill the minions in mid.
If you hit 8 basic attacks your heart bomb will also stun so keep this in mind, also your hearts will heal more if your passive is fully stacked!
Look for first blood, once you have your executioner online your damage and basic attack speed will sky rocket so get that as quickly as you can. Avoid dying since your heart seeker stacks will be halved on death so be careful!

This build worked for me and allowed my to achieve a 88 percent win rate in 1v1's so it clearly works. Rember cupid is also very mana hungry so get blue buffs in the early game!
