Hello this is my first smite guide ever!
So criticism is always welcome!
As you can see I am doing a Chang'e smite guide so you can be a pro when playing her and dominate the other gods.
I believe Chang'e is one of the most useful gods
for mid lane and solo fights. (Depending on who you are against.)
For The starting items you want to start with
Vampric ShroudWhen your in mid lane you want to try and not go back as much as possible.
With this you will have 5 MP5 and health and mana will restore with every enemy kill you do.
Next you want to get Boots. You don't want to spend too much gold on boots for now...
But you do want a bit of speed so you can run away if you need to.
I mean a little speed is better then no speed!
Next Hand of The GodsNow when I play as Chang'e and I get Hand of The Gods people actually ask me "Why the heck would you get that for her?"
For me I think it is very useful for Chang'e!
When in mid lane you want to farm more than the god against you in mid lane.
Clearing minion waves just isn't enough sometimes!
You got to get those side camps! That's where this comes to use!
I think having this just makes it way faster to clear the side camps.
Honestly I just want to get out of the Jungle as fast as I can because well...
the Jungle is dangerous!
Mid Items!
First of course build your boots in to Shoes of Focus. Now you could either get these boots of the Boots of Magi of course!
Why I would choose this is because you want to spam your moves with the cool down reduction.
Honestly though I would only choose these boots if I am sure to build Chrono's Pendant.
The Boots of Magi are for if you want to do extra damage with the rest of the build.
Next item Chrono's Pendant!Once again with an item like this you want to spam your moves.
It also gives a lot of Magical power, cooldown reduction, and MP5!
Next item Soul Reaver! This item can be very useful when using your ultimate.
When a god is hit with your ultimate 15% more damage will be taken by the god!
Which I say is very helpful since Change's ultimate stuns and you are able to attack the god.
Late Game Items!
Rod of AsclepiusMany people will usually consider Lotus Crown for Chang'e instead of Rod of Asclepius.
Lotus Crown is good but Rod of Asclepius is more useful.
You see when you use your healing powers the shield will only be up for each god only about 5 seconds.
With the Rod of Asclepius the 15% increase of health will be obtained to any god and yourself when healed.
Next Bancroft's TalonLifesteal is always useful for almost any god.
Not only does this item come with lifesteal but also lots of magical power which makes this item even more better.
You see why get a lifesteal item like Divine Ruin when this item gives you more twice as much damage and just has a 3% lifesteal difference. Sure it comes with mana but damage I think is way more important than mana. (Don't get me wrong mana is also important.)
Last but not least Gem of IsolationIf your damaging abilities are so high won't gods try to run away from you?
Or when they have low health and you want that kill won't they run?
You see with this item you can slow down your enemies and secure the kill before anybody has a chance to run.
Recommended Items
Book of Thoth is an item I recommend only if you are going back a lot because of mana issues.
These stacks will help you get lots of mana and help you catch back up to your mid lane enemy.
Breastplate
Now this item I would only get if your enemy is running a lot of psychical damage.
I wouldn't really take the time to build this item up. I'd probably get for a bit and then sell it for a damage item but if you really need it build it. Same goes for if your enemy has a lot of magical damage. Simply build a magical damage defense item.
Some of you might be very new to Chang'e so I would like to explain her beautiful skills!
(Or should I say dance moves?)This move you have to get first.
The Crescent Moon Dance!
Without this you will fall behind severely.
Yes you could get the Moonflower Dance because it heals and damages at the same time, but why not just get some health potions and just do twice the damage Moonflower Dance does?
Next you want to get Moonflower DanceWhen doing damage you might take damage so you want to get some health so your enemy does not try to kill you thinking you have low health.
Not only does this move heal but it also damages at the same time giving you more damage.
Next the Moonlit WaltzThis should probably be the 4th skill you get.
If there is gods a higher lvl then you like a level 5 god. This will help by then.
If this particular level 5 god has CC for their ultimate this is very useful.
Now this immunity is only available for the 1 second and will be removed after that.
Next your ultimate, Waxing Moon. This ultimate damages and stuns everybody it hits.
With every person it stuns the stun will be longer for each god after the previous one.
At max level this move does 460 damage +70% of your magical power doing a crazy amount of damage. If you got Soul Reaver the damage just increases even more becoming a deadly ability to kill your foes.
Now this God is not a Jungling God but she can be very useful when ganking.
If your Jungler can cooperate with you the best way to take a god out easily is for you guys to duo team the Jungle.
Your healing abilities healing the Jungler stay alive with the help of the damage as well.
When ganking it is best to use your ultimate to stun the enemy so the Jungler can jump in and secure the kill.
There is a lot of this people underestimate Chang'e for.
Her damage of course.
The first time my friends played against a Chang'e my friend who was playing as Kulkulklan was amazed at Change's Moon crest dance. I mean it goes out so far and can do a lot of damage which people underestimate.
The next thing people don't usually don't know about is her immunity.
If timed right she can get out of lots of CC attacks. But CC attacks like Medusas' ultimate can be difficult to time. I mean you don't want to get stunned but her ultimate kind of charges up before she does it. Therefore you have to time it right so that you can escape. The immunity is only for a second so you can not miss it.
The next thing is her ultimate.
I mean it is actually very easy to miss it.
The ultimate goes in a straight line towards where you point it.
It does move quite fast but can be avoided if you anticipate when she will use it.
Beads are always very useful to get out of her stun.
Combat blinks can also be useful so you can get out of the reach of her Moon Crest dance. I mean the attack has such a long range when your the one being attacked. You might think "Oh it's not that long range" when you play as her but from a different view it's pretty long range.
As you can see now Chang'e is not to be underestimate as a god.
She is very powerful when played correctly and can do a crazy amount of damage.
You guys better get your combat blinks and beads ready to be able to defeat Chang'e.

Why do you get Hand of the Gods? I know you already said it's to clear side camps and minion waves, but Chang'e's combo of Crescent Moon Dance and Moonflower Dance and a few Basic Attacks are enough to take out the entire minion wave, and the same combo can be used on jungle camps when Chang'e is above Level 10, and when below Level 10, Chang'e can depend on the jungler to help her with Mana buffs. Quick tip though, when you get a full build, buy Wrath of the Gods so you can take out the Titan faster. Everyone hates when they almost kill the Titan but then the Titan kills them with like 1HP remaining.
Secondly, it's true that Combat Blinks can help you get out of range of Chang'e's 1, however most Chang'e mains build full cd so they can get super spammy with their abilities, so using Combat Blink just to get out of Chang'e's 1 is a bad idea. A better idea would be to use it only when you get ganked or need a quick escape.
Thirdly, it's actually very difficult to dodge a Chang'e's ult. It has a wide cone range, and as you mentioned, it travels hella fast. In my experience, 95% of the time Chang'e's ult will hit its target. You should also mention that it shouldn't be used frivolously since it's essential for teamfights.
Well, have fun with all this information, I guess.
