If the enemy team has already used their beads, or doesn't have it in the first place, this makes an excellent target for your 2. Just when his ult is about to be done, toss it where he's about to land and enjoy your reward!

His ultimate does help out very nicely by slowing down the enemy and giving the closest god a stun; giving your 2 a nice window of opportunity. His snake if landed will also help you out.

Just like Ares' ultimate, once she has her targets, toss your 2 down.

While I would have Hades as an 'ideal' choice, if his CDR isn't high (which normally it isn't always), you won't always be able to fully benefit using your 2. However his Silence does make it nice when the enemy is trying to run away.

The damage potential from these two is absurd. Knocking enemies back and getting stunned in the process, and THEN having Saki splashed on is an amazing combo. Always works well.

Whenever Hun ults, make sure to throw your drink a little bit ahead of the enemy god so that they 'run into it'.

Unless the team has a vale on them, Persephone's ultimate makes many unfortunate gods ensnared, leaving your 2 ripe for the taking.

Despite having just one stun, it feels like an eternity. However this works rather well with Danza's 2 regardless.

If you happen to have another ADC on the team, Anhur's sand will help slow down the enemy team, allowing your 2 to benefit greatly. Be weary if you use your ultimate, as his pillar can destroy your rocket.

While Cerb's ult is similar to Ares in some ways, and even has an X where the enemy will land, they aren't stunned in the process, so some mobile gods can easily get out immediately.

I would have Fenrir as 'strong', and he technically could be placed as such. You'd be better off using your 1 on the enemy or even your ult if need be, rather than using your 2 to hold them in place if the god they grabbed is mobile.

While his silence is rather useful, his ultimate does make some gods panic and try to run away. This can make an amazing synergy with your 2. However your bags not only bounce off the walls, but your ultimate can also explode, so it's a 50/50 with this god.

If you have another ADC like Heim on, the slow from his horn is useful to make enemies stay in place. And like the other gods, if the enemy god is mobile, they might make an escape from his ultimate. However it doesn't hurt to throw your 2 down on the landing site just incase if he pops it.

Unless the god is very mobile, Janus' portal is a good spot for your 2. 'nough said.

Mainly placed him here because after his ult, enemies land straight back down towards your 2. That's if they land their ultimate though.

If Sobek is able to toss the enemy back towards you, then your 2 could potentially hold them in place, but if a god is mobile or has beads, it's difficult to say.

A Goddess whose main purpose is to taunt the enemy 24/7? What else is there to say. Pop that bad boy in the middle of her AOE while she's taunting. Easy peasy.

Whether it's his ult or him pounding the ground, Cab is an all around great god to have with Danza. Your 2 will keep enemies either trapped around his walls, or stuck in his ground pound.

Not only does she lock enemies in place...but she does it for what feels like an eternity. Pop your 2 down and watch that poor god suffer.

Hello there fellow merchants! This is the updated build that I have stuck around with for Season 8 of Smite! This is from personal experience and has always done well. Enjoy!
Starting out, I like to go with Bluestone Pendant and Morningstar. While this is a change to my original build with hunter's blessing, the bluestone's extra damage will help out with the fight's, and with the wide range your 1 gives, makes this an ideal choice. Then finish off with a health and mana potion for an emergency.
If you have time and it's safe to leave behind your teammate(s), upgrade your Morningstar to its second tier. Later when Morningstar is upgraded into Transcendence, your next item will be Warrior's Tabi.
If you're snowballing, then I'd recommend getting Heartseeker first, since it not only gives 10% penetration, but the extra damage properties is useful for your one. The other item to complement this will be Crusher, as that just increases the amount of dots and pain you'll be dishing out.
The next item you will be starting to buy and get to will be Titan's Bane. However if you're level 20 and have enough gold, or you're getting close to both, you should save it to buy Bluestone Brooch. Then you can finish off and get your Bane.
The last item is situational, and could be bought early on (such as Brawler's Beatstick), but is healing isn't much of an issue to deal with, then your last item will be Rungeforged Hammer, as your 1, 2, and ultimate triggers the hammer's properties. So when you use your ultimate on someone, throwing your bags will more than likely guarentee an insta-kill on any squishies, and a lot of pain to others.
I hope you enjoy this build as I have. Have a wonderful day, and make sure to share your wares!
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
