Bacchus the God of Wine
Is there anything more terrifying then a big drunken fat guy coming at you with a giant turkey leg? If you say yes then that you haven't faced the wrath of Bacchus yet. I've seen a couple guides pop up on this jolly fellow but haven't seen one yet how I like to play him so I thought I'd share my take on this tipsy god.
Bacchus's passive is Drunk-o-meter when he takes a chug from his skill of the same name his meter goes up, as it goes up he recieves various effects. When he reaches Tipsy he takes 5% less damage and gains 20 Physical power and when he reaches Smashed he takes 10% less damage and gains 40 Physical power. Not only that but his abilites also change depending on his drunk level. Belly Flopgains the ability to slow the targets for 30% for 3s after they land when Tipsy, Belch of the Godscauses enemies to be stunned for 1s and have their healing debuffed by 50% for 3s at the end of the channel when Tipsy, and his ultimate Intoxicate gives him 35 physical power when he is Smashed.
Oh this passive it's a thing of beauty. Not only does it make you beastly at early game but that 10% less damage makes him just plain tougher to kill no matter how you build him. Personally I see it as a chance to build a particularly tanky physical hitter.
Chug
Chug is the thing you should get use to spamming because you want your Bacchus nice and wasted at all times. Not only is it the only way to fill up that passive but it also gives you a nice physical power buff for 6s. Right when you start a game start chugging take advantage of the free mana and time before round to fill up your meter and then it'll be easy to keep it up whole round because with Meditation's new passive 15mp it'll easily keep you from eating up all your mana.
Belly Flop
Belly Flop is one great move not only is the damage great even at later levels but it also throws the enemy into the air and leaves them unable to act only its different from other knockups such as Hebo or Freya's Banish you can still fully hit them even during the couple secs their soaring above ur head which I usually use to start belching into them to keep my enemy further off balance with it's stun and to top it off at Tipsy level it slows then by 30% for 3s. It should also be noted that it's a surprisingly fast moving leap considering how big this guy is so it is also a decent escape move but I'm sure you'll be chasing more often then running with this drunken beast
Belch of the Gods
An aoe stun that deals damage and can be used while moving mmmmmm taste that? that's awesomeness right there. If you're Tipsy when you use Belch of the Gods enemies are stunned for 1s, and their healing is debuffed by 50%. Its great to use after Belly Flop for a near confirmed kill combined with a good lane partner and your Intoxicate.
Intoxicate
A great damage dealing ult with good range, instant cast, and a lovely after effect. Not only does it slow the enemies for 20% for 8s but it also alters their controls and makes it difficult for them to run in a straight line or properly aim making it a great move to use if your looking to chase or run. Add to that when you are Smashed it also gives you 35 physical power and its just plain good.
Now to the Items section, I start with rank 1 Reinforced Boots, Meditation and a couple health pots. His natural bulk combined with his passive, the boots, and meditation gives him great lane sustain.
I finish the boots first then go into a Devourer's Gloves This boosts his already great sustain to amazing sustain and you'll be whacking so hard alot of gods will back off after a couple hits seeing how hard your hitting already.
After the gloves are finished I start building my Executioners Axe no physical build should be without this baby I mean physical power, attack speed AND a stacking physical debuff? Yes please.
Then I grab the Sprint ability because at this point your foes will most likely be running more preemptively upon seeing your imposing figure and it's passive helps keep you right in their faces.
Afterwards I start my Deathbringer you already have good defense, great physical power, good attack speed, and lifesteal. Why not add crippling crits to the equation to make your foes just curl up into the fetal position and cry.
It's after your bringer that you head into the grey zone. These last two items are really pretty open to what you feel you need more personally I like a Quin's Blades and a Hide of the Leviathan. The blades give even more physical power, a bit of health, a great attack speed increas and a passive that deals 10% of an enemies maximum health to them as magical damage 30% of the time. The hide is to add defense on both spectrums not to mention the nice chunk of health and mana and I feel it is a better way to go with him to take advantage of that 10% damage decrease as I feel Deathbringer and Quin's Blades already make you ridiculously deadly already.

I feel that starting with Warrior Tabi and leading to an Executioner -> Fatalis is best.
wanna know how i know you're a nub? cuz u recommended buying fatalis
This is a good guide, but if I were you, I'd create a second, alternative build, focusing on good ways to build Bacchus with magical power rather than physical power.
I watched Hi-Rez Bart's stream of Bacchus when he was revealed, and he brought up a point that the Circlet of Focus can be a useful starting item for him, due to the MP, lifesteal that synergizes well with the belch, and the free ability every so often to help with keeping the drunk-o-meter up without using up all of your mana early game.
Uh, bacchus isn't physical damage.
you sir, made me face palm....
*Goes to trash my Build/guide for my Bacchus.*
Tip to make it look better, is use the Icon tool.
:P Just cuz, you know, it is makes pretty images that tell you the stats of the ability.
Awsome build, just cant find the right mag build.
Thx ppls per your thoughts I've added a bit for him on the defensive side as well as a lane partner list so any other ideas about what I should add would be welcome. Also @SmellyHarry I liked ur idea of void blade(obviously) but I feel i should note that the cc reduction from the boots and rod do not stack so itd be better if you put something else there such as void stone or maybe gauntlet of thebes for some extra bulk and regen.
Yeah, I didn't consider that at the time and I realized my mistake a couple hours afterward. I'm still plotting out what magical defense items would be good that provide a bonus to his physical attacking nature.
