Thor guide

This is the build i have been using with Thor some time now and i personally found it to be quite good and i always seem to go positive while using this build and i have been using this website for a while and i thought i should actually make an account so i can share it and see if its any good or not and if it is i can share it with others. This is my first time using publishing a build so it may be a bit wonky.

Items

[*] Aegis Amulet
This is key item for when you are in a tight struggle or caught in enemy ulti's and are unable to blink away using Thor's skill or it is cool down (please note that sometimes you may be better off picking [*] Purification beads depending on who your opponents are)
[*] Sprint
I always pick sprint as it has always been useful for me. It can help you escape enemies while you are on low hp and it can also help you run out of enemy ulti's that have a slowing effect like Ymir's or Sobek's ultimate.
[*] Warrior Tabi
Your starting item, gives you extra movement speed, attack speed, crit chance and physical power everything Thor should have all of these are helpful early game and late game as late game ( assuming you follow this build ) you will do huge crit damage normally around the 650 mark and that's just basic attacks which can be devastating on gods that have been neglecting their defence.
[*] Devourer's Gloves
These i find very useful and are good at improving your survivability as it not only increases your physical power but it also grants you a lifesteal effect which works on minions and allows you kill minions to get your hp back without returning to base or using a potion and at higher levels it also means that you can take on jungle buff minions without actually losing any health. Leveled out devourers gloves also grant you stacks ( max 40) that increase your lifesteal effect and your physical power which is an added bonus.
[*] Magi's Blessing
This item gives you some much need protection and mana as well as some added health. The health is a nice bonus but what is really needed is the mana and protection as Thor can become mana starved in long battles or when he runs out of mana potions so any increase of mana is welcoming. The increase of defence is a good thing as Thor is quite a squishy god and when facing well armed and leveled enemies it can quickly become a massacre so magi's blessing can help you survive at least a little bit longer. The passive effect of Magi's blessing is that it grants you a magical shield that will absorb any one hit from an enemy and will come back after 30 seconds. This can be very useful especially when fighting enemy gods with the advantage as when they use their skill on you and you have this shield up the damage will be absorbed and made his skill useless.
[*] Titan's Bane
This increase your physical power allowing you to hit harder and that is its only effect but it does increase your physical power more than most items and Titans bane is also fairly cheap if you did want to change out an item in this build for another item i would recommend it be this item you swap out.
[*] Deathbringer
This item i say would be a must have with Thor as it not only increases his physical power but it also increases the critical hit chance which you will need and when you level this item out it also increase the damage done with critical hits by 50% which can easily be more than enough to take down a weak or injured god without using skills or mana.
[*] The Executioner
This item effects may not be noticeable in battle but you can count on the effects to help you out. It increases your physical power and your attack speed which means that you will hit faster and thus making it more likely to get a critical hit as you are hitting almost as twice as fast compared to the beginning. This item also increases your physical power meaning that even if you do not land a critical hit you are still going to be doing a lot of damage to your enemy. The passive effect is that for seven seconds after landing a hit your enemy will have reduced physical protection which (for a couple of seconds ) you will do more damage and with that added onto your already high physical power you are going to be doing a ton of damage at this point.

Skills

I would recommend starting with Thor's [*] Berserker Barrage as it gives you slight crowd control and is also good for picking of minions and increasing your stack with the [*] Devourers gloves and because you have the gloves this skill will also restore some hp when using this skill on minions. This skill can also be helpful for attacking a tight group of enemies and i would recommend using this skill as a follow up skill to your ultimate which i will explain later.

I would use Thor's [*] Mjolnir's Attunement as it is a good skill for damaging enemy gods from a distance and also does double damage if it hits them on way back assuming it hit them going past. Naturally this skill is good for picking off wounded or retreating gods as you are accurate with it they will get hit and run closer to the hammer as it is coming back dealing double damage and making a nice quick kill allowing you to escape from enemy gods. You can also blink with this skill ( basically teleport ) allowing you to close the distance with gods that are retreating and are out of range of the skill itself, you blink by pressing the skill key again after launching it at enemies.

I wouldn't really focusing on leveling [*] Tectonic rift too much the stun doesn't last very long and i find it more useful helping allies that are getting chased by enemy gods as this skill can block out a path entirely. This skill also has another good use, stunning the enemy and then following up with [*] Mjolnir's Attunement as they will be stunned guaranteeing you the double damage majority of the time.

Lastly Thor's ultimate [*] Anvil of Dawn , Thors ultimate can be hard to land at first as you will most likely be aiming where the enemy is and not where they are going to be, none the less though this skill is good for ganking enemy players in different lanes or getting out of a fight quickly but be careful it takes a few seconds to get into the air and while you are the ground charging up your skill you can still be hurt so be careful. Another to note is that if you do land your ultimate the enemy will be stunned for a few seconds allowing you to follow up your ultimate with [*] Berserker Barrage which like i said damages enemies in a small radius which can be good way to take off health of a group of stunned opponents. The key thing to note for this skill is don't be afraid to use it to get away.

Pros / Cons

Pros

Allows you to deal a lot of damage in a short period of time before falling back or retreating.
Very good for finishing off opponents that survive a big team fight and trying to get away.
Good survivability assuming enemy minions are nearby.
Cons
Thor can easily be overwhelmed or picked off if you are fighting multiple opponents with more health or you do not have anyone to back you up in a small fight.
Assassins can easily take down Thor if you are not careful, gods such as Kali and Loki.

Additional informaton
