Don't ever build Warlock's Staff over Book of Thoth on Kuku.
Shoes of the Magi are garbage.
Building Tahuti instead of Soul Reaver makes your dots better at kill confirming, but costs you some burst.
Whirlwind -> Run away -> Whirlwind -> Run Away
Throw an ult in there somewhere
Don't waste your Polynomicon procs.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

There's a limit to how often you can level abilities 1,3,5,7,9 is the fastest possible way to level whirlwind.
The reason I skipped a point at 4 is so at level 5 you can put points into both whirl and your ult rather than delaying whirlwind.
Also I don't see how Aegis Amulet is a "situational" item. Swap Sprint with it by Relics.
If you don't even know this..I don't think you should be giving others advice...
And imho Sprint is much better than aegis. KuKu's escape sort of trash, so Sprint offers more survivability. Imagine a Thor ults onto you.. you're probably dead even if you ageis. But if you have Sprint there's a chance you survive.
As for the Sprint vs aegis thing I agree with Kriega and Gulf that aegis is better. Yes the movement speed is nice but like Gulf said, leave it to the guardians and warriors. The reason for this is that movement speed isn't going to help you as much as you think. From what you're saying it sounds like you're using it as an escape and from my experience it's pretty easy to anticipate someones movement especially if they're running back to base.
You used Thor Ult as an example so I will too. Thor Ult is a global ult meaning he just pops into the air and can aim pretty much anywhere on the map so all that the thor has to do (and what I'd do) is just target an area slightly ahead of you and you'll get hit almost every time and chances of surviving are low. Aegis on the other hand will prevent you from taking the damage from the ult (not the stun unfortunately) so already you have a better chance at surviving (this does require you to pay attention and anticipate the thor but isn't that hard to do) though in all honesty, if you're by yourself and on low health, a thor ult is going to lead to your death most of the time.
That was one example but from all the games I've played I've learned that it's incredibly easy to anticipate an enemies movement, sprint or not and landing a potentially killing skill isn't hard. Aegis will let you survive something like that but sprint won't.
However, the system limits how you can list skill leveling, so he's assuming YOU know that he's indicating a point skip, because his build lists are not designed for newer players...he assumes you generally know how to build, and he's providing very little explanation on the builds, when he even does.
Now, Periodical, no offense here but you're missing Kriega's point. He's not talking about your point skipping (again, let's assume that topic is settled). Instead, he talked about only needing to get Whirlwind to level 3 before prioritizing Zephyr. What YOU'RE doing is maxing Whirl first.
Why only level 3? It should be enough to mostly clear the waves and close jungle camps, and putting those earlier points into Zephyr allows you to be aggressive and go for some kills, or at least poke more effectively.
My apologies then, I only said it wasn't possible because when I logged into the game I couldn't level them in that order in the god builder. I think my problem was the point skipping, just with how it was listed I forgot to think about point skipping and that it was an option.
Depending on mode and god, I will put a point into all 3 abilities to start.
Some examples where I don't usually do that:
Aegis and Purification Beads are standard on just about every mage, even those with escapes, because of how squishy they are. Your job as a non-healing mage is to do damage, not support your teammates. Leave the other relics to the guardians and warriors.
You get so much extra power from Focus over Magi it's ridiculous, and then on top of that you get bonus CDR.
The only exception would be early game, when the extra pen is useful, but this is an Arena Build. In arena you shouldn't ever be building early game items, because you level so quickly.
As a result, Magi is garbage in arena.
(The god builder has a section for skill leveling...you don't have to type it out, lol)
Also, if you do your strat of "whirlwind -> run away," where do you fit in your Zephyr and Poly procs? XD
2) The smite fire god builder doesn't allow you to completely skip levels(like I did at level 4 and 8) Which allows KuKu to level up Whirl and Spirit faster.
3) I guess you're right lol The strat should be Zep Whirl Poly Run
