With Erlang's built-in health-based damage that got buffed this patch, you are going to melt the tanks this meta. This build incorporates a strong foundation that allows you to stay tanky while having a ton of damage output towards tanks and squishies alike. The final slot in the build is a flex slot that you MUST switch out EVERY GAME, it is completely dependent on who on the enemy team is the biggest threat. You will function amazingly with just the base build, so the flex slot should be what you need for the specific match. I also often use the golden blade sell as an additional flex slot, so feel free to drop shoguns in favor of another flex slot option if you're still struggling.
Currently Erlang is at his best since his rework, while he lacks his turtle knockup he still has an amazing kit that fits perfectly into the new 10.6 meta. Brawler junglers are in, and nobody does it better than Erlang. Early game you have two options, either get a ton of value out of your passive by going early game ganks in duo and solo, or purely focus grinding until you get golden blade. Once Golden Blade is online, you can afford to spend more time juggling ganking and farming. Who you gank during this time is very situational, but learn to pick targets and bully. People without movements are basically free game for you if they overextend, so just master jungler basics, make sure to hit your stuns, and save your movement for chasing (blink in to engage). Late game is where Erlang can really pull ahead of other Junglers. Even if the enemy is snowballing, once you have full build online you should start getting kills. Erlang is a beast for shredding tanks, so focus them in team fights.
Spot Weakness - Your bread and butter, you should be maxing this skill first for good reason. The extra power and lifesteal will increase the amount of time you can stay jungling by a lot. It's also what makes Erlang such an amazing brawler.
Pin - Your stun, and to some extent your poke. A lot of the time I mess up and use this ability to engage, do not do that. Ideal use of pin is once enemies get half health, that's when Qin's will get the most value and when most players up to plat will start to look for an escape. Early game it's fine to use this to poke mid and to invade buffs, in brawls and team fights make sure to save this one for when it matters most.
72 transformation - Do not use turtle, in my opinion it is absolutely useless. There are very few situations where the shield of the turtle will help you more than the attack and movement speed of the otter. Speaking of the otter, this thing is what secures you kill when your pin is on cooldown. Otter can be used to engage or chase, but optimally it is only used to chase while you engage with blink. The attack speed burst it gives you could be just what you need to finish off an escaping enemy.
