Fastllona ADC/Speedy Bellona Guide!

Pros: you are able to run extremely fast and mow down the enemy while keeping up your health at the same time, you are also able to dish out a lot of damage so enjoy the build!

Cons: you become a bit squishy risking yourself of no defensive items, the only thing that will keep you alive is your lifesteal.

Ok. I looked up cases where Bellona has been played in ADC role. I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDbaGOgE3Ug

Looks like Team Splyce chose it as part of a cheese comp involving 4 tanks. However, they obviously lost that match due to having 4 tanks, getting shut down hard by defense(Bellona didn't have pen), lack of large teamfight damage, and by Horrific Emblem.

Now, if you did want to go Bellona ADC, something along the lines of what CycloneSpin built wouldn't be bad. Splyce wanted to counter Mercury and Artemis by picking Bellona as those 2 characters were AA-based.

However, would I ever go Bellona ADC in a normal match? Mostly no. Though, team comp could make it a viable choice. Say you have a hunter that went solo, your team has only 1 frontliner, (and if you're playing ranked) notice that the enemy team has 2 to 3 (or more?) Heavy AA-based characters, then picking Bellona ADC wouldn't be the worst thing ever. But you would have to build properly, tanky/hybrid with at least some specific counter building to the enemy adc. Cyclone also went Shell and Thorns to further increase his anti-AA capability.

The build Cyclone used, that you can use for ideas: Start: Warrior's Blessing, Chalice of Healing, 3 x Multi Potions.

Build: Warrior Tabi, Midgardian Mail, Blackthorn Hammer, Magi's Cloak, Talisman of Energy, Hastened Katana. Not much protections, a little power, hastened for sticking, and a lot of health while also being quite a cheap build.

Those're some interesting concepts. In all honesty, I'm thinking Cyclone's build (even though he's an ADC) is not really ADCish. The only thing that makes it more like an ADC is Katana, and that was built late by him apparently. The rest of the build has nothing really to do with an ADC, and might be something you'd see in Solo (especially with that Warrior's Blessing).

Now sure, she has a short disarm in her Scourge, so that's great against an enemy ADC and single target function, while she has Bludgeon for wave clear. But if you really want her in that role, wouldn't you probably want a bit of AS eariler than 6th item? The rest of that build is not only funky (but Cyclone can make whatever work I'm sure), but it's really more of a Solo build (and still a weird one at that, with Talisman of Energy).

He wouldn’t really need the damage though, midgardian + Bellona 1 and 3. The lategame Hastened works out pretty nice too. I just tried in a casual (though it was Bellona Support as my Izanami stole ADC). Also Talisman gives attack speed through it's passive. Don't forget the thorns and horrific emblem (which also gets upgaded lategame).

Anyway I've made some proper ADC builds (along with Cyclone's) for Bellona.

Hello Midnight. Your skill leveling is impossible, which is grounds for archiving.

As for the build, it might be fun but it doesn't seem like it'll be effective in regular matches. By effective I mean killing without dying regularly, due to lack of protection, which is something Bellona typically needs as a more tanky player. You seem like you might be proposing her as an off-meta ADC. However, I will say that, when you have Hastened Katana, I don't know why you're picking up Atalanta's Bow, as Hastened will give you the MS you need to stick to an enemy. You'll want earlier pen to deal better damage.

Also, Berserker is called a bridge item. It should be purchased early in a build and sold late. Not purchased and kept as 4th item. Blackthorn Hammer is also a head scratcher. You're building her for basic attacks, so other than the obvious health (which you can get from other items), why are you getting an item that promotes ability use and mana regen? Doesn't fit in this build.

If you can fix the skill leveling at the bare minimum, you can unarchive, but unless the build is also adjusted, I don't see this as being very functional.

Shhhh, trust me this works, I used it plenty of times and being super aggressive with it has gotten me almost many penta kills

You only have four points in both Shield Bash and Scourge while you have eight points in Bludgeon. Fix your skill order and provide reasons as to why you think this build is good. I'd also like to see your match history because I don't see this build as being anywhere near viable in most situations.

Branmuffin17 (401) | January 31, 2019 4:02pm
Well, I've given very specific reasons as to why the build is inefficient. I cannot argue that it may work well for you, but there are many, many variables that could make that the case.

HR might have your matchmaking rating fairly low. You might be playing with lower-tier players. You might be in a group with people that are supporting you very well. Or possibly, you're a very skilled player and you can make even inefficient builds work well. I play with someone pretty regularly that can do just that.

I'd like to check details on the matches you've played, if you don't mind sharing your in game name.

(And in any case, your skill leveling is F****d. Still. Completely impossible to level like that.)

Ignoring the lack of ADC counter items in this build, why is thorns being built without nemian or much defense at all?

Oo, changed that it was a mistake :3

Your Skill Level Ordering is impossible. I would suggest revising it before we begin talking about the build.
