Pros
Best 1v1
life steal passive beneficial early game
her ultimate can be used to get out of a sticky situation or to tower dive low health enemy gods.
She can also play well with other gods
Shes Hot :)
Cons
She is very Squishy
Gets Focused
Good Junglers will try and gank your lane often (Reason why to not chase a God without your Ultimate Up)
All the items I choose were to benefit me early game. To give me the solid 1v1 that early game is and get the kills, gold count, and ganking ability. Only gank a lane when your ultimate is ready.
You can sub some of the items out for either defense or magic power/pen. Life Steal is also very good with freya since her passive has it built in.
What I do early game is get the XP camp and Blue buff camp with my teammates. Hoping that they let me take it. You shouldn't have much mana issues with frey, but her bread and butter is Pulse. And CD reduction and attack speed is what you want to focus on early game. The faster you attack the more pulses you get.
Jungle is very important to Freya, all the buffs can benefit her especially Blue since it gives mana regen and cool down reduction. Both things important when pushing your lane. The other buff would be Orange buff do to the movement and attack speed. Attack Speed gives you more pulse hits. So during the early parts of the game get the jungle when enemy is killed or missing.
If your lane is going well and your pushing / killing your god and you have an ultimate up gank a lane. Your movement speed is one of the fasted and you can easily run the jungle. Yes you might be stealing your teammates kills but with your ultimate you can kill the other team when they are using the tower as protection. Allowing a 3v0 tower kill.
If you can always stay 2 levels or higher nobody should be killing you 1v1 unless they built a ton of magic defense in that case wait for your Assassin to come in and finish them.
When in Mid or Solo lane the most import thing is to never stand directly on top of your minions. Especially when going against a Ra or Ao Kuang. Those two gods benefit by dropping their AOE on top of the minions and don't let them get free hits on you.
What I like about Frey is that she can make any and every god retreat and push. That's why its important to get good with aiming her pulse. I can do both damage to the minions and the god I am up against depending on how i position myself. Never attack the other god with a full set of minions early because they will eat your health fast. Always keep in mind you are squishy.
Step 1: stand to the side so you direct your pulse at minions or both minions and their god. Retreat when minions turn on you.
Step 2: don't chase unless you have pulse up and ready to kill and or your banish up.
Step 3: don't purchase your 4th item wait until level 5 and get your ultimate and rank 3 pulse.
Repeat step 1 and once your god is 40% or less ultimate and they are dead.
After you kill a god in your clear the minions, go refresh your jungle buffs. you can do 1 of 2 things recall or gank another lane.
The reason why I jungle is I can get a lot more gold faster and early game Freya if they feed you will cause most teams to quit.
In late game Freya is very squishy and you will want to stay near your teammates. Never initiate the fight let your guardians do that for you. Also gods that work well with Freya are Arachne, Ares, Hades, Fen and Sobek. These are all gods who can send the enemy to you. 1v1 match ups are yours to win. With your attack speed, life steal and especially your ultimate you can finish anyone. Try not to use your ultimate when you know you can kill them with pulse or irradiate.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
