Notes I use these boots because it builds with his 2 and is awesome for staying alive, then go back and forth from life steal to defense and it hits nice and hard with a ton of sustaining. It’s very frustrating to fight and funny when you ground pound someone while in the minions... your life goes up and they stay trembling! Still get almost 400 damage and great defense so it’s a fun build to stay tank minded and do great damage for the team still! Hope you like it.

What mode is this for? I don't see anything happening outside of getting blown up or not being able to heal much because of anti-heal.

but he has mantle and spirit. he's not gonna get blown up by arena players who aren't smart enough to buy pen. I'm not defending the build, I'm just saying your analysis is wrong, Gulf.

Polynomicon can work, due to his stun or ult. Speaking of polyomicon, i want to try a ymir jg build.

Pen/traveler's shoes, dynasty, void, demonic grip, ruin/toxic (if needed), poly; swap out dyn with celestial and shoes for more defense or telkines. You can also get shaman's after poly.

For his passive. Attack speed Ymir can chunk. I wouldn't get it in support or solo, but you should be fine with it in jungle.

In his games, he's not getting blown up, per se. Looks like he's getting fairly reasonable damage and some pretty decent mitigations overall...just not doing as well as he COULD be doing with a better directed build, IMO. He's on PS4 and looks to be playing almost exclusively arena.

You can get away with a lot of things in Arena if you're good, but I can't recommend this build as it currently stands.

There's an attempt here to provide a functional build, so...no.

The main problem here, NiceGuy, isn't that you probably have some success with this, or that you can't survive where a true squishy build would get blown up. The problem is the build doesn't balance enough.

In going for damage function, you want to have some pen in the build, not just power. If going for true offense items, these would include items like , , , , and (with specific uses for each of these). If going for bruiser items that also have some survivability function, it would include and . Without any pen in the build, the offense you do build is handicapped.

In going for protection/survival function, you want to have some health in the build, not just protections. The only item you have here with some added health is , which isn't much. Your other two protection items, and , don't have any health. At least Spirit has some situational mitigations...but you want health too for better survival.

In going for lifesteal, well, Cab isn't really one to build a lot of lifesteal normally. If you were going for a damage build, the one you might consider is probably for a good burst of added damage. And although Bancroft's provides some good function for a god that expects to take damage and has to get up close to deal said damage, you might get some reasonable use out of it. But the combo of Bancroft's + Typhon's (at least this is a proper 2x lifesteal combo) just isn't really suggested for Cab in most cases. The gods that tend to get the best use out of that combo are , and perhaps and in a basic attack build. Not Cab.

Again, not saying you're not seeing success with it, but, well, it could be better optimized, perhaps.

(Also, please never build 3x lifesteal (Bancroft + Poly + Typhon's)

Also yes the pen build is better for damage for sure. No argument there. 🙂

Great job, you’re right, it’s not meant to be the greatest build ever, but it is fun to play, you mitigate a ton and are a pain to kill. It’s just meant to be a fun build and not die a lot and still do some decent damage. 30k+ and a lot of mitigation. So keeps you tanky and relevant in the fight without being a major liability with deaths. And yes, I love playing arena most. So it’s mostly for that. 😃
