Ganesha Best Support In The Game?

When it comes down to kit comparison, and passive comparison, its very easy to say that Ganesha in terms of support is the greatest support in the game. Let me break it down for you.

Ganesha's passive does not let him get kills when he is close to a teammate. This applies for minions all the way to gods. If you have an issue with last hitting, or accidently kill stealing, this is the god for you. Once you have killed something the kill will be granted to a random close ally. This will be especially great starting in Season 8 as the new starter Sentinel grants you gold upon each kill assist.

Moving away from Ganesha's passive you have his kit. The 1 Turn of Fate is a large line attack that deal decent damage, and will give power to your allies per enemy god hit. This a very powerful tool. Most of the time when you are playing Ganesha you are looking to abuse his second ability Ohm this is a mobile silence that you can channel and hover over enemies. This makes it where the enemy is not able to use any abilities in their kits, and allows for very easy follow up from your team. Speaking of follow up we are now moving on to Ganesha's third ability Remove Obstacles. This is a dash, that will stop on the first enemy god hit. This is a great tool to use when you are looking to set up a kill for your team. You can dash into them, and then when the dash is done you can use your second ability to silence them so they are not able to run away! A fun fact about Ganesha dash is that it is able to move through player made obstacles. For example if Yemoja ults you, you are able to dash through her walls, or if Ymir puts a wall in front of you, you are able to dash through the wall. Very hand for getting out of tough situation.

Why do you wait to put points into Dharmic Pillars?

I prefer to have my 1, and 2 maxed as soon as possible, 1 is obvious, but for the 2 the more protections you have early the better. The 3 isnt as important as any of the rest. I suppose if you dont value your protections as much early you can put more points into your ult sooner. All depends on the way you play I suppose

Yo Amoral,

Ganesha Support Best Support.

In your aggressive build, IMO I'd switch the positions of Spirit Robe and Pridwen. Without Shoes of Focus, you'll appreciate the higher CDR a bit earlier, you already have some CC reduction in Reinforced Shoes, and the passive's added damage explosion thing fits with an aggressive concept.

Do you not consider Mantle of Discord, Void Stone, or Witchblade as situational options?

Interested in your thoughts on these.

You CAN swap those two around that is acceptable, most snowball games you have enough gold to get prid, and you really dont need the CCR early, but for most even games, getting the CCR, the cooldown, and the passive earlier is going to be better.

for void stone I dont really consider this a support item. If you want to build a damage item just build Ethereal Staff, or Soul Reaver. Witchblade is an interesting one, since we are keeping our starter for the entire game you are left one less slot to swap an item out, so it feels like theres no real room for witchblade. But I suppose if you want to build it there is nothing wrong with it, I just dont think theres a place for it right now. I didnt add Mantle of Discord to the situational items because I see this as a core item. You will be building Mantle every game. I think in every guide I have, I say sell boots for Mantle of Discord.
