This build offers health, lifesteal, power and penetration. Take note that this is an Arena build, and it's meant to be used in Arena and maybe Clash, Joust, Siege, or even Assault.
With no further introduction, we'll start:
The Items I recommend buying in this build are the following:
LISTEN
Your main objective when leveling as Ymir is his two, and his three then, his wall is not that important here, YES, IT IS FUN TO USE, but we want damage to start, don't we?
When spawning in Arena (Level 3), level Glaciar Strike two times and Frost Breath one time, then, just follow the sequence I already added there. You CAN change orders! You can! Just remember, your two it's important, a lot, it's what is going to deal damage most of the times!
Shards Of Ice, Ymir's ultimate is also important, that's why you must level up this ability everytime you can, as any other ultimate in the entire game.
His passive, Frostbite, will make an AMAZING combination with Polynomicon and will lead to a huge amount of health dissapearing in an instant from the health bar of opponents.
We've covered this, two more chapters to go... Gameplay!
Most of the times, aggresive. There's many many strategies and combinations, here's some:
AA = Auto Attacks = Basic Attacks
"Hello, Goodbye" 3>2>AA
The easiest one, and the one that is used the most. Get close to one enemy, stun them with your three, deal damage with your two and a basic attack (That will have Frostbite AND Polynomicon) could mean instant death on squishy gods, or big amount of health lost in most opponents. If you stun multiple enemies, use your two in all of them, but of course, use your powerful basic in the squishiest of them.
"I touch you, you die." 2>3>AA
Pretty much the same as the last one, but with the first two attacks reversed. You start by using your two, remember there is a delay, you got to time it if you are using this, as you haven't stun anyone yet. If an enemy is hit by your two and his health is reduced enough, proceed on running towards them (Of course they should be close if you already damaged them with your two), and stun them, then use an basic attack and watch them suffer.
"Have you ever wondered how does an explosion at the face feels?" 3>2>4
As it sounds. Stun various or a single person, damage them with your two, and use your ultimate. Remember to cancel it if they are escaping, don't cancel it too fast tho, just in time for it to deal enough damage. Remember also, it's a huge amount of damage when fully charged. Your stun should keep them in your explosion range for most time. If there is any survivors, a Basic Attack will be enough for a kill.
"Up Against The Wall Explosion" 1>3>4 OR 3>1>4
Use your wall and block their way to escape, and then stun them. You can do it reverse, stun them and then quickly build a wall. Then, in both cases, USE YOUR ULTIMATE AND WATCH THEM PANIC AND THEN CEASE TO EXIST.
Create your own combos, your own tactics! The possibilities are endless, so as your imagination! Now let's move on to the Pros/Cons!
This team offers a big amount of health, wich will make you more tanky than you already are and will make you a difficult enemy to kill, so you are protected. It also gives you some lifesteal to sustain?
The main advantage is your passive's mix with Polynomicon wich will lead you to victory most of the times (Or at least to kills and damage), so use it and DON'T. HAVE. MERCY.
Last but not least your penetration is high, so don't be scared about going into some tanky enemies or supports, you WILL do damage, trust me.
Cons? I think the only bad thing would be indeed, you have health, but not enough to be called a "Support", you can act and play like one with this, sure, you can be a good support with this and also deal damage, sure, but you won't be able to "tank", or enter battles expecting to not lose health because you are a "tank". So yeah, don't think because you are Ymir, you aren't going to die. That's all.
I just want to thank you for reading this! I hope it helped!
Best of luck for you! And remember... YMIR IS HERE!

What we're hoping this guide contest will get people to do is spend time working on their guides, getting inspiration form various sources, making improvements, and learning and having fun while they're at it. We appreciate having members that communicate and do their best, and we in turn try to provide helpful information.
Take a look at some of the more established guides (for other gods) on the site, and you'll see that there's a ton of different things you can detail to make it comprehensive.
My comment was definitely not an insult to Xaton500. I wish him the best of luck.
No one's criticized this build :o Bran did say he could add more depth/formatting, but that wasn't a criticism so much as a suggestion.
Welcome to SmiteFire! I know you made this for the Ymir contest, as you commented on my Reddit post indicating as such.
Great that you specifically point out in the beginning that this is for Arena and other non-Conquest modes (as it's definitely not for Conquest Support!).
Being your first guide here, I think you did pretty well, especially writing this up so quickly. That said, you've got a good 3 weeks or so to learn more about BBcoding and to spend more time to flesh out the guide, should you feel the effort is worth it. There are many things you can do...detail gameplay for individual modes, develop more specific builds for the different modes, explain everything in more depth, etc.
If you have any questions, you're welcome to ask away. I may be a bit limited in how much help I provide (since I'm acting as one of the judges), but there are plenty of others that will be willing to help! Just be specific in your questions.
Anyway, again, welcome, and hope you become an active member of the SmiteFire community!
I'll try learning more in these weeks and adding format to the guide. Thank you for helping me since my first comment on reddit! You're the man, thanks for such a lovely welcome :)
