Hello and welcome to my build, there wont be many colors and such due to the fact that this is my first ever build on this forum; however, I have read many of the guides and realized that the new updated patch Hades does not in fact have a build. So I decided to make one with my favorite gods: Hades.
Hades is the only ranged tank in the game, and I feel like he is very versatile when it comes to how to build him. I have tried many and the most fun, yet effective one that I have tried is when my build emphasizes on damage and life steal.
Reasons for this
-His (or her, idk lol) consists of many attacks that leech life, including his ultimate and 3.
-When using ultimate, I seem to be the center of attention, making me the main target.
-His attacks are basically explosions and short bursts of damage.
-It is important to really focus on his explosive amounts of damage because of his gaking ability.
Your Core Items
Spears of Magus
I pick up this item first for a couple of reasons: Its magical power and penetration combined with its passive is basically going kill anybody with your ult. Not only does it give the opponent something to think about when approaching you, but it also makes it easier to shred the opposing Odin's *********.
Reinforced Boots
As most players playing tanks do, I pick up this item to give Hades a bit of tankiness, I have seen many players go Hades with dps (Damage per second), and pick up Boots of Magi and get completely WRECKED during team fights. This allows you to jump in the middle of the team fight and use up all your skill's and easily escape Ymirs or any cc ult.
Void Stone
The reason why I pick up this useful items is because of its passive (and partially its magical protection.) It lowers any opposing gods magical protection within 55 feet by 25. Now this might not seem like a lot, but it really does help when using most of Hades's skills. Since most of Hades attacks consists of him being in the middle.
Others
Other items mentioned in my build, such as Bancrofts Talon and Wall of Absolution is to increase the survivability of Hades. Like I said, lifesteal is very important when playing Hades, so i pick up the talon, and the Wall of Absolution is used for protection against players such as Artemis or Anhur, who can really hurt you with physical damage. It also adds a nice passive, which is effective against junglers or carries which strive on auto attacks.
Now I dont know how to add pictures and stuff, and I'm pretty sure most of you Hades players know the basics to his skills. So here is how I approach most battles:
When I am in a situation where I know I can survive:
Death From Below + Pillar of Agony + Devour Souls + Shroud of Darkness (IF YOU CANNOT FINISH THE OPPONENT AND YOUR TEAM IS CHASING THE WEAKENED OPPOSING GOD)
and if I am not sure about my life, I will usually just switch up Death From Below to last to make my escape.
This was not a good build, but I just wanted to get my thoughts on the new Hades out to the Smite Community, my IGN is Rkraz3d, and there is a video up of me playing Hades on Smitefire. If you wanna see, go ahead, thanks for reading this guide!!!!!
